7 ; congratulating

After kissing, you and Kaneki decided to get some sleep.
Kaneki said that you could wear one of his shirts, because you didn't have anything to change into.
"... Are you sure I'm allowed to sleep here?" You asked, after changing into Kaneki's shirt.

It was above your knees, but you had shorts on underneath.
"Of course." Kaneki chuckled.
You blushed and climbed into his bed.
Kaneki layed down next to you and covered you both in his blanket.

Snuggling up to Kaneki, you tangled your legs in his.
Kaneki giggled and whispered, "You look cute in that shirt, y/n."
You blushed and said, "What? N-no, I don't!"
Kaneki chucked and kissed your head before saying, "Goodnight, y/n- Chan."
"Goodnight, Kaneki-kun..."

|The next day|

You awoke to the sun gleaming through Kaneki's window.
You groaned and sat up, rubbing your eyes.
Turning to your right, you saw Kaneki sleeping.
You shook him, because you had work today.
"C'mon, Ken... Get up." You said as you continued to shake your boyfriend.
Kaneki groaned and turned over.
You glared at him and shouted, "Ken Kaneki! Get the hell up!"

That's when Kaneki shot up in shock.
You giggled as he glared at you.
"Argh... Why'd you do that?" He whined, pushing you over.
Laughing, you toppled over and said, "Because we have work."
Kaneki huffed and grabbed his pillow, throwing it at your face.
You gasped and fell off of the bed as it hit your face.
How is he so strong...!? You thought as your head smacked against the wall.

You heard Kaneki gasp and saw him peek over the bed.
"Y/n- Chan! Ah, I'm so sorry!!!" Kaneki said, looking at you worriedly.
You glared at him and threw the pillow back, making him topple over the bed.
You laughed as you heard a loud thud on the floor.
Standing up, you dusted yourself down as you heard Kaneki groan.

"That's what you get, dork." You said, walking over to him and lending a hand.
He threw his pillow on the bed and took your hand as you hauled him up.
"Sorry..." Kaneki muttered as he stared at you.
You giggled and pecked his cheek, making him blush.
"See you at work. I'm going to my apartment to get ready." You explained.

Kaneki nodded and quickly kissed your lips.
"Okay, see you then."
You hummed and grabbed your cost before slipping it on and walking out of Kaneki's apartment.

|Time skip to work|

After getting changed and grabbing your bag, you headed off to work.
You smiled and walked down streets to get to Anteiku.
After you and Kaneki confessing to eachother, you actually felt happy for once.
You felt like someone finally saved you from your endless suffering.

Coming across the small coffee shop, you pushed open the door and sighed as the bell chimed.
After closing the door, you quickly rushed to the counter, wanting to be unseen by everyone.
Placing your bag down, you were about to walk into the kitchen, but you heard a familiar voice.

"Y/n- Chan!"
Looking around, you saw Touka and Nishiki, waving at you.
You looked back at them and walked over to the counter, where they were.
"Hi, Touka-Chan. Hi, Nishiki- San." You said, smiling at them.
"Wow, you smiled? That's new." Nishiki chuckled, adjusting his glasses.
Touka nodded, but asked, "How are you and Kaneki?"

Ah, they have no clue yet, do they? You thought, staring at them.
"U-uhm... Well-" You started, but they both cut you off.
"I swear, if the eyepatch kid has done something to you, he's gonna know about it!" Nishiki shouted, cracking his knuckles.
"What has he done!? Bakaneki!?" Touka shouted, her ghoul eyes showing.
You gasped and tapped her lightly.
She shook her head, and they went away, leaving her normal, purple eyes.

"So...?" Nishiki asked.
You smiled and said, "Me and Kaneki confessed to eachother yesterday."
You bit your lip as Touka's and Nishiki's eyes widened.
"Guys...?" You whispered.
You were surprised when you felt yourself being bought in for a hug.
Nishiki and Touka cheered and hugged you tight, making you smile.
"I knew you could do it!" Touka said, patting your head.
"Well done!" Nishiki said, patting your back.

After you all hugged, you smiled and said, "Thanks, guys!"
They smiled and nodded as you walked off into the kitchen to clean up.
Soon, you heard the door to Anteiku open, and the bell chime again.
You appeared out of the kitchen with a wet cloth, walking over to a table to clean it.

You smiled at the sight of Kaneki, walking over to the counter, whilst adjusting his eyepatch over his left eye.
You blushed as you heard what Touka, Nishiki and Kaneki were talking about:

Nishiki: "Yo, Ken! Congrats!"

Touka: "Mmmh!"

Kaneki: "Ah, y/n told you, did she?"

Nishiki: "You bet! She looked happy for once!"

Touka: "Yeah, and Kaneki, I swear, if you break her heart, you'll end up dead, you hear me!?"

Kaneki: "... Hehehe. I hear you, Touka-Chan. Thanks."

Nishiki: "Who knows, you two could get laid~"

Touka: "Oh my god, Nishiki-San!!"

Kaneki: "Uwa!? Nishiki!!!"

You blushed more as Kaneki glanced over at you.
"Looks like someone is embarrassed!~" Touka sang, smirking over at you.

You glared at her, but blushed red as you continued to clean the table.
