"You know, while I'd expected the monsters to change seeing as we're in a castle now, this isn't what I had in mind." Koko stated in a strained tone as she punched the monster in front of her and killed it.

<Royal An# (Level 49)>

"Well, at least they're strong enough so that I almost can't see their information." Koko smirked slightly as she spoke to herself.

"We're only now getting close to where the queens are, so what else did you expect to see down here?" Christina asked as she blasted one of the other giant black ants which were just as tall as Koko with several beams of light.

"Oh, I dont know, undead or maybe something else that can be castle related?" Koko asked sarcastically. "Golems, haunted armor, cyclops, ghost soldiers, lizard men, goblins, cultists, demons-"

"Would you at least try to take this seriously?" Austin asked as he dropped on top of the final ant and killed it with his daggers.

"I'll take it seriously when we face something that's actually life threatening." Koko waved the man's words away. "These bugs are more annoying than dangerous anyway."

"Didn't you not like bugs before? What changed?" Richard asked.

"I found a way to clean myself using MP and Senshi is cute so I've started seeing all of them differently." Koko replied with a smile. "However, those still freak me out."

With the small group of four that had taken one of the many hallways of the castle now looking to where she was pointing in front of them to find five giant centipedes that were all attached to a single creature, both Christina and Richard now visibly shivered now as well as the monster slowly made its way toward them.

"Aright, we're officially at the point where you guys are going to have to tell me if something is a threat or not. I can't read their name plates anymore." Koko announced as all five heads started crawling towards them with the monster's main body following. However, unlike her first encounter, Koko had her friends with her this time and she didn't have to do anything as Richard impaled three of the centipedes with large spikes of ice and Christina stopped the other two by pinning them to the ceiling with a barrage of her swords. And after all five heads were trapped, Austin appeared behind the creature's main body and destroyed it with a single attack.

"You know, back when I first started fighting monsters, I never would have thought that beating a level sixty-three monster like this would be this easy." Richard commented out loud after the bug disappeared into black smoke.

"What do you mean?" Christina asked curiously.

"I mean that we're basically fighting stuff that's twice our level right now and beating them no problem." Richard explained. "I know that levels normally count both strength and experience, but being able to win like this just feels... cheaty, somehow. Especially seeing as I've... read about other level systems before where there would be no way that we would be winning against stuff even ten levels past us."
