Chapter 9

Sam's POV

As soon as my body hit the hotel bed I was out like a light.
The drive to the hotel was a long one and being the nice guy I was I offered to drive the full way even though Colby insisted we should take turns.

I must have drank maybe around 4 or 5 coffees to keep myself awake whilst Colby did take a nap half way through the journey, which I didn't mind let me think for a while before we started to talk about random rubbish again.

When I finally woke up it felt like I was alseep for days. I rolled onto my side to see Colby sitting on his bed looking at his phone.
He looked so zoned out I couldn't help but laugh which caught his attention.

"Morning sleepy head" he said laughing.

I gave him a weak smile being sitting up and stretching.
I looked around our small hotel room, the only light coming from the screen of Colby's phone.

"Sorry" I mumbled , a little embarrassed at how long I actually slept, when we got into the hotel it was still kinda light out.

"No sweat man, you must have needed it" he said with a smile on his face before picking his phone back up which he must have put down when he heard me wake up.

That's what I loved about Colby, he was always so understanding and caring which was lucky for me, I'm honestly surprised he's wanted to be my best friend for this long.

"What time is it?" I asked in a kinda groggy voice, my body still not fully awake.

"9.45pm" he responded before locking his phone and turning to face me.

"To be honest with you I could go for something to eat I'm starving" by this point he was sitting on the edge of his bed.

I was about to answer him but my stomach did it for me making a rumbling noise causing him to burst out laughing.

"Come on brother, I think I remember a McDonald's being down the street" he said getting up and putting his shoes on.

I nodded before getting up off the end and heading to my bag taking out a hoodie just in case it was colder than when we arrived. I quickly put on my shoes and then we were off heading for something to eat.

*Quick time skip of McDonalds*

After eating both our weights in chicken nuggets we decided it was time to start heading back to our room for some much needed rest for the party tomorrow, I wasn't much of a party guy but all my friends were going so I didn't want to just sit in the hotel room with nothing to do.

We were walking down the hall to our room when I though I heard two female voices, I looked at Colby who just shrugged at me as we continued to walk down the hall.
I heard Colby say something causing to me turn around to look at him. I was about to ask him what was wrong but I felt something or someone walk into me catching me off guard.

I looked in front of me and my heart stopped. It was them, the haunt and gore twins. I just walked right into Melon, how could I be so clumsy?

"Oh my god I'm so sorry" she said in a quite panicked voice. She wasn't looking at me, probably embarrassed with what just happened.

"Oh don't worry about it" I said with a laugh, I couldn't help but smile at how adorable she looked. She looked like she just woke up and her sister dragged her out of bed yet she still looked beautiful in my eyes.

It looked like something clicked on her mind as she slowly looked up to look at me.

"S... Sam Golbach" she stuttered which melted my heart. I personally hated my stutter and would do anything for it to disappear but on her it just made her even more cute.

"The one and only" I couldn't help the big grin on my face. I got lost in her stunning eyes for a moment before turning around to look at Colby, he looked star struck lost looking at Lizzie which I couldn't help but mentally aw at. He caught my eye and coughed acting like he wasn't daydreaming before speaking trying to stay cool.

"Lizzie and Melon right?" He said which I tried so hard not to laugh at. It was so obvious we knew who they were, we watch them all the time.

"That's me....I mean us" she stuttered again melting my heart once again, she was honestly so cute. I couldn't help but laugh a little causing a pink blush to appear on her face which she tried to hide.

I noticed her all of a sudden confused expression then her looking down at my feet, I looked down to see a small vlog camera. I bent down and picked it up passing it back to her causing her to blush even worse which caused my heart to skip a beat.

"Its nice finally meeting the female us" I said causing her to giggle. I just wanted to hug her or tell her how beautiful and adorable she was but I couldn't. She was amazing and I was me..... She could do so much better than me.

I looked over to see Colby was chatting away to Lizzie and for once it was him blushing. For once Colby found someone that he actually liked and it was nice to see him all loved up.

Next minute I know it I see Lizzie nodding whilst Colby passes her his phone, how on earth does he do it?
I wish I was like him sometimes because when it came to girls he was always on point.

My attention went back to Melon when I heard a small yawn leave her mouth. I looked at her and I could tell she badly needed sleep the poor thing.
"Oh you must be tired, you should probably get some rest" I said in the softest tone I could.
She simply nodded at me with a small smile before turning around to look at her sister.

They both started to walk away down the hallway to whatever floor they were on and just then I realized I didn't even say bye or anything like an idiot.

I turned around and like she could read my mind she was looking in my direction. She gave me a weak half asleep smile which I returned before turning back around to see Colby outside our hotel door.

He opened it and we both flopped onto our beds. As soon as we both heard the door click we both burst out into laughter.

I rolled onto my side to look at him whilst he was looking at the ceiling.

"Dude you are so in love with Lizzie" I said trying to hold back a laugh but failing.

He rolled onto his side facing me with a big smile on his face.

"And your not with Melon, brother that's the most loved up I've seen you in years! You didn't even look at Kat that way"

Hearing Kat's name stung a little, she already had a new boyfriend, the guy she cheated on me with and was always posting how happy she was without me, she even told fans in comments that I was shit in bed and all sorts.

Colby must have seen that I was lost in thought because he clapped his hands trying to grab my attention before talking again.

"Bro please forget about that bitch, you deserve more Sam your a great guy" he said taking a deep breath I didn't speak just gave him a weak smile to show I was listening.

"Anyhow the girls are going to the party tomorrow and I said we should all go with, it will be a good night, just try cheer up I hate seeing you this way, your not my brother Sam like this" he let out a sign before lying back down in his bed and rolling over probably to try get some sleep.

I lay down looking at the ceiling. Was Colby right was i really letting Kat breaking up with me affect me that bad he didn't even know me anymore.
I closed my eyes and signed just thinking tomorrow will hopefully be better than today and soon the darkness took over my body as I fell into a deep sleep.
