The crushing silence of the morning was what got Finn up. The fan that he had turned on in the tour bus had given out causing Finn to wake up immediately. Instead of waking up in terror, Finn had woken up in crushing grief. The only thought on his mind being of the beautiful boy that broke his stupid heart. Finn wanted to curse him every way he knew how, but he couldn't bring himself to do it, not even after all the mean things Jack has done. Finn's entirety ached, his back and neck from falling asleep on the thin-padded leather couch and his heart from Jack. Everything was falling apart but there was no glue in sight.
'I don't like Finn and I don't even think I ever did.'
It was the fact that his first kiss laid with Jack that hurts him so bad. He knew they rushed into the whole relationship thing way too fast for any comfort, but he also never once felt his stomach fill with regret. His heart never stopped racing when Jack was near, but maybe Jack was different.
