Bittersweet // Jensoo

Chapter 4

Jisoo was definitely shocked. She was too stunned that she did not pushed Jennie away or deepened the kiss. She just stood there with her eyes widen. Jennie smiled through the kiss and broke the kiss.

"You're a bad kisser" Jennie commented

Finally gaining back her senses, Jisoo said:

"What was that suppose to be?"

"A kiss" Jennie replied

"I know, I meant why did you do that?" Jisoo exclaimed

"Why not?" Jennie asked

"Because...because it's not right!" Jisoo said, she's already lost for words

"Well technically I did that because your lips looked very soft, it's not my fault that your lips looks kissable, blame you mother" Jennie said

"This is not right! You can't just go around kissing everyone" Jisoo said

"Correction, I did not go around kissing everyone, I kissed you only" Jennie said

Jisoo did not reply, she did not know whether to feel lucky or unlucky. Jennie passed and asked:

"Besides, did you hate it?"

"No but..."

Jisoo said, she was then cut off by Jennie

"No buts, the point is you liked it, I liked it, and that's what that matters"

Jisoo was speechless, Jennie sounded so wrong but she can't find a flaw in what she had said. Jisoo sighed and said:

"Fine, just don't do that again"

Jennie frowned and asked:

"Why not?"

"Cause it's wrong to kiss someone without their permission" Jisoo said

"So you mean I'll have to ask you before kissing you?" Jennie asked

"Yes you'll have to ask but I'm going to say no" Jisoo said

"We'll see about that" Jennie said

They leaned against the rock and enjoyed the moment after that little kissing incident. This time, Jisoo stayed as far as possible away from Jennie. Seeing Jisoo's actions, Jennie laughed and said:

"Are you staying away from me?"

"Yes" Jisoo replied

"You're unbelievable" Jennie chuckled

"You are unbelievable" Jisoo corrected

"Whatever" Jennie said

Little by little, without Jisoo's notice, Jennie inched towards Jisoo. Jisoo finally realises when Jennie is right beside her.

"When did you got here" she exclaimed

"Just now" Jennie said

"You're sneaky" Jisoo said

"Okay, I'll take that as compliment" Jennie said

Jennie realises that the sky is getting darker, she said to Jisoo:

"As much as I like to stay in this small place with you, I'm afraid we have to leave already"

Jisoo blushed a little, she then said:

"Alright"

They swam back together. While Jisoo was busy twisting water out from her clothes, Jennie took out the clothes and towels that she had prepared earlier from her back. She passed them to Jisoo.
