Chapter 16

Rosé drove them to Irene's house. It's a double-storey terrace near Rosé's house, which means Irene's rich too. As soon as Rosé said they've reached, Jisoo got scared. She started to have the thought of backing out. She sheepishly smiled and said:

"Perhaps you guys want to leave now?"

Lisa rolled her eyes and said:

"Go get your girl"

"Perhaps they have slept already?" Jisoo suggested

"It's freaking 6 only, she doesn't sleeps for another 6 hours" Rosé said

"Cmon lets go" Rosé said and dragged Jisoo out from the car

The walked over to Irene's front door and Rosé ringed the bell. They waited for a while but no one got the door. Rosé frowned and said:

"Wait, Irene's car is not here, maybe they went out"

Jisoo's heart loosen and she said:

"Oops, bad timing, let's go"

"Grab her Lisa" Rosé ordered

Lisa blocked her road and held Jisoo's hands, Rosé took out her phone and make a call:

"Irene unnie"
"Yes its me Chaeng"
"You're not home?"
"And Jennie?"
"Oh so you're reaching?"
"Yeah we're outside"
"Okay"

Rosé closed her phone and she said:

"Yeah they're coming back"

Jisoo slumped down and complained:

"Why didn't you stop me before"

"You have to settle this sooner or later" Rosé said

"Tell me one reason why can't we just let a problem stay a problem" Jisoo said

"Cause you're perfect for each other" Lisa said

"Who said so? Besides, both of you are perfect for each other too, but are you together? I don't think so" Jisoo said

"She's courting me" Rosé said without looking at Lisa

"Wait what?" Lisa's eyes widen, she blushed and exclaimed

"Since when?" Lisa asked

"Since forever, now shut up or you're sleeping alone tonight" Rosé said

"Ooo, kinky" Jisoo nervously chuckled and said

"Shut up, your girl is sleeping with her ex" Lisa said

Lisa didn't mean what she said but what she said was true. It hit Jisoo's heart. Jisoo's smile faded, she lowered her head and said:

"Yeah, I know"

Lisa immediately regretted what she said, she hugged Jisoo and said:

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it"

Jisoo shook her head and said:

"No it's fine, it's true"

Rosé joined the hug and said:

"It's going to turn out fine"

"I hope so" Jisoo mumbled

They remained in that position for a really long time. They were enjoying each others companion. After a while, they heard a car, and then they saw Irene's car slowly coming from the end of the street.

Three of them stood up. Jisoo didn't lifted her head, she was avoiding eye contact with Jennie. She didn't see the Jennie was literally staring at her. Irene parked her car and they left the car.
