Chapter 8

The next morning, Jisoo came over and brought them breakfast that her mother prepared. She went to wake Lisa up and was surprised to find Rosé in her room. She dragged Lisa outside and asked:

"Why's you crush doing in your room?"

"How did you know?" Lisa asked, she still hasn't wake up from her sleep yet
"Oh right Jennie told you" Lisa mumbled to herself

Jisoo chuckled and said:

"Yeah, she told me, so why's Chae Young doing in your room?"

"She broke up with Chanyeol yesterday, so I stayed by her side" Lisa explained

"Anything happened?" Jisoo asked

"I gave her a hug" Lisa bragged

"That's all?" Jisoo asked, she sounded not amazed

"That's better than nothing!" Lisa exclaimed

"I can just hug her anytime, it's not a big deal" Jisoo said

"Says the one who dares to do nothing to her crush" Lisa said

"I have no crush" Jisoo defended herself

"Oh really, who's Jennie then?" Lisa asked teasingly

"She's just a friend to me" Jisoo said

"Seriously?" Lisa asked, she's a little surprised

"Yes I'm not kidding" Jisoo said

"Doesn't she likes you?" Lisa asked

"She's just saying" Jisoo said

Little did they know, Jennie was standing right across the corner. She sneaked up behind then wanting to surprise Jisoo from behind when suddenly she heard her name, she stopped her actions and eavesdropped to their conversation.

Jennie raised her eyebrows at their conversation. She never thought Jisoo would be thinking this way. Most of the people would have fallen for her by now but Jisoo still sees her as a friends only. She felt as if her charm was challenged.

"So there's nothing going on between you two?" Lisa asked unbelievably

"No! What makes you think that?" Jisoo exclaimed

"The whole school is talking about both of you!" Lisa said

"Since when?" Jisoo asked

"Since she asked you out on a date and kissed you in front of the whole world!" Lisa said

"There's no way I'm falling for her" Jisoo said

"Why?" Lisa asked

"I'm a hundred percent sure she's going to break my heart" Jisoo said

Overhearing all this, Jennie mumbled in her heart:
'Challenge accepted'

Though she didn't hear the little sadness in Jisoo's voice.

Jennie went back to her room and snuggled in her bed, knowing Jisoo would come and wake her up soon. Just after a while, Jennie heard a knock on her door and Jisoo came in. She went over to Jennie's bed and softly patted her arms,

"Wake up Jendeukie" she said

Jennie pretended to just have woke up. She slowly opened her eyes a gave Jisoo a gummy smile. She mumbled:

"Good morning sunshine"

Jisoo smiled and said:

"Good morning, wake up now, breakfast is ready"
