Chapter 17

Weeks passed, time for the talent show has come. It's on a the last day of school for the semester, they'll then have a one month holiday. Early in the morning, the contestants went to get ready in the auditorium. There were a lot of contestants, most of them were pretty nervous. They were divided to different rooms to get ready. In a total of 52 groups, Jisoo and Jin Young were at 23.

Both of them had been training crazily for the past weeks. They wanted to make their choreography perfect. They are indeed good but they're not sure if they could out win other groups. Anyway, both of them were now in the rehearsal room going through the choreography again.

After a while, the crew came to ask them to assemble at the stage, they had to show up for a simple opening ceremony. 52 groups of contestants lined up at the stage, lights were hitting their face and Jisoo couldn't barely see. She wasn't paying to what the mc were saying actually, she just looked at the audience to find her friends. After a while, she spotted Lisa and Rosé waving to her, they looked so hyped up and excited, and Jisoo waved back to them.

Out of subconscious, she looked around Lisa and Rosé to find Jennie but she didn't find her. She turned her head and spotted Jungkook and Minho but couldn't find Jennie either. She felt relieved and disappointed at the same time.

Jennie's presence gave her stress, she wanted to see Jennie but doesn't wants Jennie to see her choreography, there's a part during her dance that she'd have to grab Jin Young's head and kiss him. Of course they didn't really kiss each other but it seems like it from a distance. Having this thought in her head, Jisoo smiled and sarcastically thought:

'She wouldn't even care'

The ceremony ended and they went back backstage to get ready. Both of them change into their performance outfit. Jisoo wore a graphic shirt with leather biker jacket, jeans shorts and black boots, Jin Young wore another similar graphic t-shirt and black jeans with chains and boots too. To make the visual affect nicer, they put on some makeup too. After then, they didn't want to ruin their makeup so they stopped practicing. Jisoo was really nervous. Jin Young chuckled and said:

"Hey, calm down"

"What if I did a mistake, what if I forgot the choreography?" Jisoo asked

"You won't" Jin Young said

After a pause Jin Young said:

"Just to remind you, if we win, you owe me a favour"

Jisoo rolled her eyes and said:

"Is that important right now?"

"Yes" Jin Young replied with a smile

"Fine" Jisoo said

Just then, the crew knocked and opened the door, he said:

"You're up next"

"Alright" Jin Young said

Jisoo started to panic

"Oh my god is this real? Right now?" she stammered

Jin Young chuckled and said:

"Let's go"

He walked over, grabbed Jisoo's hands and dragged her out. He did not let go of Jisoo's hands even though they're already at the backstage but Jisoo didn't notice. The performance before them were also dancing but they were more like latin dance, it was a different style. When that performance ended, the crowd clapped their hands and the mc announced:

"Now its time for another dance performance too, let's give it up for Park Jin Young and Kim Jisoo!"

The crowd cheered loudly when their name were announced. Both of them were really well-know around the school especially Jin Young. Jisoo became a hot topic after that little incident with Jennie and pretty soon everybody were attracted by her looks. Jin Young took a deep breathe and hugged Jisoo, he whispered in her ears:
