Ok so apparently the Jonas Brothers where practicing in New York and one of them had said that Mcr was practicing next to them...
Now personally I don't think this is true because Mikey just had his daughter, Franks band is on tour, and Gerard and Ray are working on The Umbrella Academy.
Now as much as I hope it's true, I don't think it is.

EDIT : now that I think about this, it's probably just Franks band practicing. They probably saw Frank and thought about My chem.
