I'm going to write a light hearted one for once. Also it's probably going to be a little random but fine lmao

Chanyeol and I were sitting around, on a Saturday, watching Captain Marvel. This week had been kind of busy, for the both of us. We both had collage exams and had been very stressed. So we were taking some time to relax at our apartment.

I had gotten up to get some snacks before we started the movie. I got distracted halfway through what I was doing and ended up staring out the window. There was a little bird sitting in the flower box I had in the window.

It was a pretty bird. It was a blue jay. A small one. I smiled at it and mumbled,

"So pretty"

I then felt arms wrap around me and a deep voice say in my ear,

"It is pretty isn't it?"

I jumped slightly,

"Yeah it is."

I turned to look at Chanyeol and wrapped my arms around his neck. He smiled down at me and said,

"But you're prettier."

I blushed and stood up on my tiptoes so I could kiss him.

After we had pulled back from the kiss, I turned around. I grabbed the snacks and tried to walk away, but Chanyeol had his arms around me still,

"Work with me here big guy."

I giggled out as held me tighter. He then kissed the tip of my ear, then said,

"Stand on my feet."

I did as he said and then he started walking. I began laughing hysterically and Chanyeol was chuckling.

We eventually made it to the living room and I sat the snacks on the coffee table and got comfy on the couch. Chanyeol then grabbed the remote and said,

"Are you ready?"

I nodded and smiled,

"Are you?"

He nodded,

"Heck yeah! Let's get it!"

I rolled my eyes,

"Chanyeol you are such a dork."

"Yeah but if you didn't love me, you wouldn't be engaged to me and wouldn't have dated me for 2 years."

I smiled. We got engaged last night actually. It was after both of our last exams, and we went out to dinner at this fancy-ish restaurant.

It was beautiful really. Up until I cried. But we aren't talking about that.

BACK TO THE MAIN STORY

I smiled at him and said,

"You're right. Anyway let's start the movie!"

He pressed play and the Marvel intro played. I scooted closer to him and he wrapped his arm around me.

Roughly around halfway through the movie, Chanyeol's phone began to buzz. He rolled his eyes and I paused the movie. He answered it put it on speaker phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey Chanyeol. The guys and I are wondering if you and Baek any to come with us to the amusement park!"

Yixing's voice rang through the other side of the phone.

As normal 22 year olds would, we normally enjoy going to the amusement park, but we hadn't told our friends we were engaged yet. We knew they'd go insane and want to have a party or something. So we hadn't told them, so we could enjoys a few days of peace before we told them.
