The next day was pretty much terrible. I was a nervous wreck all morning, patiently waiting for that clock to turn to another minute until Miss Kelly's class came.

I stayed in Mrs. Shuler's classroom again at lunch. I like being around her cause she's super fun and chill. Plus, she doesn't mind me staying in here and irritating her.

I was at her stereo, looking through her CDs she had in a box. She had a lot of old CDs and this stereo was old as shit. I couldn't understand how it was still working. It was so old.

"Mrs. Shuler, why don't you upgrade to another stereo? Like a Bluetooth one?" I look over as she was sitting at her desk.

She looks over at me. "I've had that for years. I never remember to get another one. That one hasn't gave me any problems."

I look through the box. "You have a lot of old CDs in here." I look at all of them then picked one up that had different songs on it. I look over the songs and saw one that caught my attention. "What's Unchained Melody?" I held it up to her.

She looks at me, slightly smiling. "It's the song from that movie Ghost."

"Oh." I look at it then place it in the box. "That's cool." I picked another one, which had eighties music on it. Mostly love songs on it. "Can I play this?" I held up the CD.

She looks at me then nods and looks back at her book. I smile then place the CD in the stereo. I tried looking for the button to turn it on but I couldn't find it.

"Ok, how do you turn this thing on?"

Mrs. Shuler walked over to me and pressed a button that was right in front of me. I thanked her as she walked back to her desk and sat down.

I looked at the back of the CD to find a song to listen to. I knew a few of them, but not a lot. I don't know why but I enjoy the old music. The music these days are shit, in my opinion.

I played the song, which was Ain't No Mountain High Enough. I sat down in the chair and listened to it. I leaned back and looked over at Mrs. Shuler as she was reading. I couldn't help but smile knowing that she probably thinks I'm irritating.

I knew this song because like I said, I enjoy listening to old music. I started singing to the song then heard Mrs. Shuler laugh at her desk. I look over at her as she looks up at me, smiling.

I sung louder.

I instantly got into the song, started entertaining Mrs. Shuler with my singing. I moved around in the chair and couldn't help but laugh as she was laughing.

We were laughing so hard that I didn't know someone had walked in. I was swirling around in my chair when I saw them, then instantly stopped.

It was a Mrs. Shuler's wife; Sam.

I knew her because I've met her plenty of times. She comes in here at lunch sometimes to bring Mrs. Shuler lunch, which I think is the cutest thing ever.

I smile at her when she notices me. "Hi, Sam."

"Hey, Kenna." She smiles, handing Mrs. Shuler a bag.

I watch as they talked and it made me smile. They were such a cute couple together. It made me wonder how they met and ended up now.

After a few minutes of them talking, Sam walks over to me and smiles. "How come you're always in here?" She crosses her arms.

"I like irritating your wife." I shrug.

She laughs. "I did that too."

I tilt my head. "Huh?"
