Tris and Four

Chapter 21

Tris Pov

All the initiates are here and all of our friends. Everybody's drinking and Susan and Christina are some where laughing about something stupid. They have been talking and laughing all night. Fours with his friends, but he comes over once in a while to see if I'm okay. Of course I tell him " yes " but I'm really having a miserable time. I sit with Marlene who announced that she was pregnant a few days ago, so we're loners together. Christina isn't drinking but she's just hanging out with Susan. They can both get hit by a train for all I care. I don't mean this, I'm just really upset.

" So how's life " Marlene says

" Other than being pregnant, it's fine " I say and she laughs.

" Wait is it really that bad being pregnant. " she says

" It's not bad.... okay I'm going to tell you the truth it's bad " I say sitting up a little more. Then Four comes over and gives me a kiss on the head.

" Hey " he says

" What " I say

" Want me to sit with you " he says

" No I'm talking to Marlene, trust me I'm not mad at you, I just want to grab Christina and throw her at a wall. " I say and he laughs.

" Okay " he says and gives me a kiss on the head.

" Awww Four is so cute to you " she says and I giggle. " I wish Uriah would treat me like that " she says

" Trust me, Four only does that because he knows when I get upset, I'm not happy, so he does everything to comfort me " I say " Uriah will figure it out soon " I say and she laughs

" Not soon enough with his stupid head" she says and we start laughing so hard Christina looks back at us.

" I'm hungry " I say

" Me too " she says

" But I don't want any of this food " I say

" Pizza " we say in sync

" Wanna leave and get pizza " I say

" Okay " she says. We grab our bags and walk to the pit to go to Dauntless Pizza.

" They have the best Pizza " she says " my mom would take me here when I was a kid " she says and I smile. We order 2 slices and sit and talk.

We walk back into the apartment and there stands four and Uriah. Then the rest of our friends are in the living room. The party already ended. Hoe long were we talking.

" Hey babe " I say walking past them and Marlene follows.

" Tris, you left the party with out telling us " he says

" Yeah Mar why did you leave you guys weren't having any fun " Uriah says

" Nope " Marlene says and I laugh.

" Well I already know it wasn't Marlenes idea. " Four days

" How do you know " I say crossing my arms.

" Because I know you and I can see you doing something like that " he says

" Next time can you tell one of us, we were worried " Uriah says

" Okay dad sorry " Marlene says and gives Uriah a hug, so Four gives me a kiss on the head and I hug him. We sit in the living room. I sit with Four curled up in a ball.

" So how was the party " I say

" Amazing Me and Susan said that we have to go baby shopping together, omg it's going to be amazing " Christina says

" Cool " I say sarcastically.

" What's wrong with you, are your horomones acting up " she says

" No I'm fine " I say getting up and walking to my room. Four walks in and sits me on the bed with him.

" Ughh my baby what's wrong " he says

" Christina and Susan are doing this and that, like no one cares " I say and he laughs. " Four " I say laying my head in his chest.

" I think you shouldn't be so jealous about them being friends, Christina's just happy she has a shopping buddie " he says

" Shopping Buddie, not we do everything together buddie " I say and he laughs

" Tris really "he says

" Yeah I know, maybe it's just my jealous horomones " I say and he laughs. I give him a kiss and he picks me up and places me on the floor.

" Thanks " I say and he pecks my lips.
