"So I don't think we've been properly introduced yet. I'm Kate." Kate said holding out her hand for Conner to shake
Conner shook her hand. "Nice to meet you Kate, I'm Conner" He said smiling at her
"Well it's nice to meet you too, Conner." Kate said smiling back
"I guess you're the only adult around here? " Conner asked
"Yep. It's been that way for about the last year or so." Kate answered
"Did you know any of these kids before the apocalypse? " Conner asked
"Yeah. Gabe is my step-son." Kate said
"Step son? No this can't be right, you have to be only three or four years older than him" Conner said flirting a bit
"Oh... nah. I'm about 35." Kate said blushing
"35? You look way younger than that" Conner said smiling
Kate smiles back while still blushing
"Well you look pretty young by yourself." Kate flirted back
"Thank you, but what do you think how old I am? " Conner asked smiling
"I'd say about... 27." Kate flirted
"Well, not exactly. Add 9 years to it, then you successfully guessed my age" Conner said smiling
"So you're 36?" Kate asked
"Yes, ma'am" Conner chuckled
Kate chuckled as well
"I just tried to give your boy some good advices for being a good father to his little girl" Conner said
"Oh really? And how did that go?" Kate asked
"Pretty good, I think. I guess, he'll be a great dad for his baby" Conner said
"I hope so. He seems super excited about it." Kate said
"Yeah, I can tell" Conner said smiling
"Clem is acting just as excited as he is. I don't think I've ever seen her with so much joy." Kate said smiling back
"Well, honestly I thought Clem would be a very happy person like how she is right now" Conner said looking at Clem
"What made you think that?" Kate asked
"I arrived here and she looked very happy, the first time I saw her. " Conner answered
"Yeah, she's usually happy when she and Gabe are around each other. It's always been like that. Even before they got together." Kate said
"Well, your son is a very nice person. " Conner said smiling
"Well he obviously gets that from me." Kate joked
"Yeah, I can tell. You are a very nice person and you're good looking person, just like your son" Conner said smiling
"Did you just actually call Gabe good looking?" Kate asked giggling
"Yeah, he is good looking. You can't deny that" Conner said giggling as well
Kate giggled as well. "Yeah maybe."
"But he obviously got his good look from you" Conner said
Kate blushed. "How? I'm only his stepmom." Kate said
"Yeah, but still" Conner said smirking
"You guys were talking about lookout before, right? Would you mind, if I'd help you the next time? " Conner asked
