They saw Mitch and Brody sitting over by one of the picnic tables just talking to each other
They walked to their table. "Hey guys" Clem said
"Oh hey you two. What brings you over here?" Brody asked
"We just wanted to talk to you" Clem answered while smiling
"Oh well sit down then." Brody said with a smile
Clem and Gabe sat down at the table
"So, what do you guys want to talk about? " Mitch asked
"Well first we wanted to know how things have been with the two of you and Gwen." Gabe Said
"Well Gwen was pretty difficult at first but now we got used to each other. She is a nice and pretty girl and we like being something like her parents, right Brody? " Mitch asked hugging her side with his only arm
"Yeah, definitely." Brody said smiling at Mitch
"Difficult? How so?" Gabe asked
"She was still sad because of her sister a while ago but we tried our best to brighten her mood... Well AJ helped her a lot. But now she is fine now and we love her like she would be our own child" Mitch said smiling
"Well that's good to hear. It's nice being parents isn't it?" Gabe asked with a smile
"Sometimes it's difficult but when you see her smile at you one time, it's all worth it. So yes, it feels very nice" Mitch said
"Yeah, that's how it was for Clem and I with AJ." Gabe Said smiling at Clem
"Our kids are best friends. He's helping her a lot with everything she's asking for" Mitch said
"They do seem to be really good friends. It's nice to see AJ interact with someone his own age." Gabe Said
"Yeah it's good for both of them" Clem said
"Definitely. This is a much better life than we ever could have given him when we were on the road." Gabe Said
"Well we know one of Gwen's secrets" Clem said smirking
"Do you guys want to know it? " Clem asked still smirking
"Sure, what is it?" Brody asked
"They both have a crush on each other, but they don't know it yet" Clem said
"Really?" Brody asked surprised
"You didn't know that? " Mitch asked giggling
"No. Wait, you did?" Brody asked
"Yes it was pretty obvious to me" Mitch chuckled
"Not to me." Brody said
"Well, I guess that means I have a better connection to her" Mitch joked
"Hey, That is so not true." Brody protested
"Are you sure? " Mitch asked smirking
"Yeah." Brody said
"Well you have a great connection to me, so I guess you're right and really have the better connection to Gwen" Mitch said sweetly before kissing her cheek
Brody just smiled at him lovingly
"I didn't know, you could be so romantic, Mitch" Clem chuckled
Mitch rolled his eyes playfully
"Well she's right. You are quite romantic." Brody flirted
"You don't have to joke around now, baby" Mitch said giggling
