They walked back to their house hand-in-hand as Clementine had her other hand on her baby bump
"I'll give her my hat, when she's old enough" Clem said smiling
"Really?" Gabe asked shocked
"Yeah, it'll be a gift from mother to daughter" Clem said
Gabe smiled as he kissed her cheek
"I love that idea. But once you give the hat to our daughter, no other hat shall ever be crowned on your head." Gabe Said
"But what about our beanies? " Clem asked chuckling
"OK maybe once in a while. But for the most part, it's either your hat or no hat at all." Gabe Said chuckling back
"Okay, deal" Clem said before she opened the door of their house
He held it open so Clem could walk in.
"Thank you, sir" Clem said giggling as she walked inside
Gabe walked in after her and shut the door behind them
On the dining room table was Gabe's stew and Clem's sandwiches.
Kate and AJ were already eating their stew as Gabe and Clem entered the dining room
The two of them sat down as they began to eat
"Hey guys, where were you? " Kate asked while eating
"Oh... We were just with Ruby for Clem's ultrasound." Gabe answered
"Oh, that's cool. Is it gonna be a boy or a girl? " Kate asked smiling after she stopped eating
"Well...." Gabe Said looking at Clem for her to answer
"It's gonna be a girl! " Clem exclaimed happily
"Wow! I'm happy for you two, even though I thought that it's gonna be a boy" Kate said chuckling
"You did?" Gabe asked Kate
"Yeah, I hoped for it, because I know you're the best son for me and it'll be your child, so I thought it would be exactly like you two combined" Kate answered
"But the thing is I already have the perfect son." Gabe said looking at AJ
AJ smiles as he ran to his father and gave him a big hearted hug to which Gabe hugged back
Clem smiled at their hug as she was already eating her sandwiches
"I love you Dad." AJ said smiling as they hugged
"I love you too buddy." Gabe said hugging back
"Aww" Clem and Kate said in the same moment
Gabe then kissed the side of AJ's head as the two of them let go of each other
"So, AJ do you like your room? " Clem asked after AJ sat down again
"I love it. It's better than the dorm." AJ said smiling
"That's great" Clem said smiling.
"What about you, Kate? I mean you obviously like it, because you already slept in your room" Clem said chuckling
"Yeah, I love it too. And I can finally live with you in a normal house again. I don't know, where you found the mattress, but it's the most comfortable mattress, I ever slept on" Kate said chuckling as well
"Yeah and like we've said before, we set you up downstairs so if the baby cries at night, you won't have to hear it so it won't wake you up." Gabe Said
