"I don't care! Just get a doctor, please!" the mother screamed, clutching tightly onto the nurse's coat. "I need to know if my son is going to be okay!"
     "Look, ma'am, his disease is...complicated. We don't know what to expect." the nurse replied with a sigh. "I'm sorry that we can't do anything right now. The best plan of action is to leave him be."
     "If my baby doesn't get better, he'll be stuck in that bed for years..." the woman cried. She sucked in a breath and gave a small nod.
     "If he doesn't show signs of getting better, then you can pull the plug..."
