Game plan

Normal P.O.V

"Finally! I can stretch out!" Lucy sighed, flopping onto the freshly made bed with a giggle.

"Yes, that cart was a bit cramped." Erza agreed, calmly sitting on her bed. "Come on Lucy, lets start on our plan." Erza swiftly said, pulling out the sheet and laying it across the table resting in the corner.

"I think we need to have a distraction. Someone needs to attract the attention of the guild."

Erza rushed out, Lucy's mind already putting the pieces together.

"That's exactly what we did on my mission with Natsu the other day. It seemed to work out." Lucy shrugged, Erza nodding along with a smile.

"Once they try to engage with you, you will launch your attacks and we will come in behind you, finishing the rest off." Erza said, smiling with her plan.

Lucy wasn't too fond at being used to lure in the guild. Although she had suggested it on her other mission, with someone else suggesting it, it felt different.

"I will inform the others of our meeting tomorrow to go over our plan. We leave tomorrow afternoon, get a good nights rest." Erza said seriously, making Lucy know that those words were important.

Lucy wouldn't be able to attack the dark mages if she was tired.

Lucy tucked herself into bed, after changing into her favorite pink pajamas, falling asleep as Erza came back into the room.

"Lucy, Lucy!" The girl sprung awake, hitting her head when she jumped up.

"Ow! What was that for?" She heard a deep voice groan.

"I'm so sorry Sting," she said reaching out to his forehead, gently rubbing where she hit him.

"It's fine, a little bump won't hurt." He smiled, rubbing out the red mark. "Time to wake up, everyone else is at breakfast."

"Okay, give me a minute." She quietly mumbled before walking into the bathroom and changing into her clothes for the day.

"Come on blondie, we have to go." Sting smiled, holding the girls hand as they walked to the elevator.

The elevator doors opened and she was met with all of her friends sitting at a round table in the middle of the dining room. "Good morning everyone!" Lucy smiled before sitting between Natsu and Gray.

"Morning!" She heard a string of responses, some perky, some with a hint of tiredness in their voices.

A delectable plate of food was placed in front of Lucy, she was lucky enough to have the pleasure of dining on french toast with strawberries and a delicious chocolate sauce.

Lucy moaned at the taste of the dish, earning giggles from those around her. She felt a foot touching hers and she looked up, making eye contact with Sting. She tapped his foot back, making him aware that she knew it was him.

The meal soon finished after that, and the team headed back to Lucy and Ezra's room. The girls had the others sit on their beds and Erza explained the plan with Lucy chiming in with small details here and there.

"Natsu and Sting will be trailing Lucy in case anything, and I mean anything, goes wrong." Erza's eyes hardened, a sweatdrop rolling down Lucy's face.

"But we can't jeopardize the mission by the boys jumping in too soon, because I know how you two are."

Lucy smiled fondly, thinking of the many times Natsu has jumped in to save her.

"Lucy will snap her fingers when she needs your assistance. Only come out when she says. The rest of us will stay back, once Sting and Natsu come out, that's when Gray, Rogue, and I will move in."  Erza said, her voice as serious as ever.

"Oh I'm all fired up now!" Natsu shouted, everyone else yelled, joining his fist bump.
