"Kabhi kabhi insan sach mai chod deta hai,
shikaytein karna, ruthna, manana,
dil kuch is kadar tut chuka hota hai ki phir chahe koi baat kare to bhi thik
Aur na kare to aur bhi thik"

(sometimes a person really stop complaining, grudging, pacifying .
The heart is broken to the extent that it doesn't matter if someone talk to you. Its better they stop talking .)

Akshay listened the poetic words transmitting from radio placed on the table of doctor Vaibhav.

"because the heart knew that everything is fake." Akshay completed the sentence with faint smile. Vaibhav examined his expressions. There is nothing but hurt and disappointment on his face.

Akshay looked toward Vaibhav and he is waiting patiently for him to open up. He didn't pestered him to reveal anything. Its easy to be with him. You can talk anything or not to utter a word in whole session. He is okay with both way. He even  prepone the appointment on request.

"I was in that phase few years ago." Akshay said looking in the eyes of the doctor.

"Do you still think everything is fake and lie?" Vaibhav asked to keep the flow of conversation.

"I have kind of understanding of it."

"What kind of understanding?"

"You know 1% people remain as such, I mean honest and true to their character. Another 1% will be dishonest, ungrateful and cheater. Rest of population act with respect to their circumstances. Their loyalty and honesty depends upon their options." Akshay sighed.

" That is word of wisdom. "Vaibhav said.

Silence filled the room after that. Akshay has nothing to say any further. We all see world with rose painted glasses but when that glass break, there is nothing.

" Mind to share something more. "

Akshay looked towards him. He has genuine concern towards him. He believed that he will not make fun of him.

"I was a drug addict."

"What kind of drug."

"Heroine." Akshay said and Vaibhav set back with this revelation. Its not new to deal with drug addicts but this person has too much in the plate. Till now he has issues with woman, drug addict and suffering from depression. Vaibhav know there is much more to know about him to tackle his demons.

"Are  you still...

" No, I left taking it. "

" had you taken it in peer pressure.?"Vaibhav pointed out the obvious route to this path.

" No, few years ago my whole family died in an accident. My grandfather had transferred his part of shares in my wife's name. We had some dispute so we were separated from each other. She sold her shares in open market. My competitor purchased a large chunk in the company. I became minor stakeholders and removed from the position of CEO. Life was numb and dull. There was nothing to rely on. There was nothing to look up to. Life lost its purpose. I hadn't knew why I was living either. "

" I randomly trespass in a house party. I hadn't care what they will do on finding, I am uninvited guest. Teenegers were dancing on the beat of music. Most of the people were fully intoxicated. At the corner, there is group of guys, looking relaxed like no care of the world. My steps moved toward them. They were inhaling  white powdered substances which was relaxing their nerves. I hadn't hesitate to try it. I relaxed my nerves to some extent and I slept there peacefully. "

" It became routine for me to took it. I started carrying it with me in meetings. Board members find out and there was restraining order against me to show up in company premises. I lost everything one by one. Removal of company is last straw. I was  in crisis. My liquid asset were turning dry. There is extreme pressure on me to correct my ways. I hadn't wanted to correct anything. I wanted all this ordeal to end. "

Vaibhav guessed the obvious. Most people take that route in their vulnerable state. Sometimes people were so tired that they given up on life. Sometimes dwath look more pleasurable than life. These people need just person to say everything will be okay but life is unfortunate. Everyone is engrossed in their own tiny bubble that they didn't have time to listen other's problem.

"You won't believe doctor but I was afraid to do that. I can't take my own life but I was hopeless. I hadn't find a way to safeguard me and even if I had took right path what is waiting for me. There was nothing waiting for me. I was considering which option is less painful to do it. I can't get enough courage to do it initially. One day I saw gossip news was discussing my my fucked up life. How I was a disgrace to my than graceful family. My intoxicated self peeing in public was full on display on tv. People were claiming me useless, moron, druggy, womaniser, drug peddler, gangster. I hadn't take it anymore and..... "

Vaibhav hugged him tightly. He gently rubbed his back. Its out of his job but this patient need it at this time. Akshay clutched him tight. Vaibhav said sweet nothings to calm his anxious nerves." You will be fine my friend. "he recite in his ear. After some time Akshay left him. His eyes were blood shot red due to crying. Vaibhav handed him a tablet and glass of water.

" We'll continue this in next session. "

" No, I want to end it in once and all. This is suffocating my heart for so long." Akshay pleaded and Vaibhav signal him to continue.

"Mr. Das, my current secretary and friend of my grandfather, who was passing by, saw me and saved me. He took me to his house and I spent a very long time in his household."

"Life hadn't got a purpose still but I was going on.I used to wake up, do exercise, dress up and do some freelance work on my laptop. I lost appetite but ate on time with Mr. Das.

" Few months passed by, one day I was returning from garden,I heard crying of someone. I looked around and find no one. Weather was cold and I predict there will be raining in few minutes. I moved towards home and that crying voice returned again with more pitch. I followed the voice and it leads me to a dustbin. I find an infant covered in a plastic bag in dustbin. I was terrified by the sight. My head was spinning. I don't know what to do. I wanted to run but stopped when I saw street dogs approaching the dustbin. I hold the little thing in my arms. My hands were trembling. The child was not  heavy weight but light weight, completely drenched in rain water and debris of dustbin. My eyes became moist. I ran towards my car and took the little life to hospital. "

" She was suffering from pulmonary pneumonia. Her breath was hitched and uneasy. She was having high flue. Doctor puts her in intensive care unit. I spent two days in hospital for her but its too late. She was gone. One little angel is gone without witnessing life. This incident shocked me. I hadn't ate for days. There were similar kind of news almost everyday in newspaper. I can't let it happen like this way. May be my life hadn't any purpose but I can give a chance to those who have it. "

" what happened after that. "Vaibhav was moved with his story. This man is vulnerable, scared, angry with caring heart at same time. Everything is messed up for him and he decided to free few bounds of his life.

" I quiet drugs. It was not easy sometimes I have strong urges to have that but I put them in back burner. I need a steady and paying job. I wanted enough earning to sustain myself and others. I went to university again to complete my education. I completed it with flying colours and there is some very good job opportunities in my hand. I started working. In meanwhile board of directors of my company were unable to sustain the growth. Company was on bankruptcy. I used my contacts and purchased that loss bearing company. I worked day and night and in few year its on track. Things were falling on place... "

" What happened after that Mr. Akshay. "Vaibhav asked when he is zoned out.

" My wife returned with demand of divorce. "
