Chapter 26: He Gained His Father's Power

Jaque's P.O.V

I flutter my heavy eyes open. My head and body pounding with pain. I hear grunts beside me, I look and see Fane, slowly waking up. He turned his head and weakly smiled at me, I smiled back with all my strength. The doors came open, Sage and Lily appeared. As soon as they saw us awake, they came and buried us with bear hugs. They told us everything that happened, they thanked us for saving them, we returned the thanks for saving us.

Lily says that there has been no sightings of Logan or Stephen. That we have no problems for now, all we need to worry about is Fane and I getting better. Later, we were greeted by Luke, Brooke, Chamie, and our grandparents. Each person overjoyed that Fane and I made it. Were we really that critical? Chamie told Fane and I that we were close to dying. Wow! That's twice for me, when will I learn my lesson.

-week later-

Fane and I are able to walk and run now. We are almost fully healed, we have some scars. Fane, Lily, Sage, and I found out we have symbols tattooed to our skin, I have the fire symbol. It's like from one of our nightmares but instead of having it on the palm, we have up it on our right wrists.The girls and I are back at pranking the guys, non-stop.

I'm around a corner right now with water. Fane came walking and I dumped the water in him. I burst out laughing uncontrollably.

"What was that for?" He asked pouting.

"Haha, th-the girls were b-busy and I wa-was bored." I managed to say in between laughs, but then I stopped because I felt wetness on my body. Fane has his arms wrapped around me, I tried to free myself, but he has a good grip on me.

"I'm glad your back!" He whispers in my ear. A smile spreads on my face, hearing tho swords from my boyfriend meant a lot, but not as much as the three he said next:

"I love you!" Then he leaned in and I felt a pair of warm lips touch mine. I wrap my arms around his neck while his are at my waist. We kiss for a good while, until we hear wolf whistles. I break the kiss and turn to see Luke, Brooke, Sage, and Lily standing there with goofy grins on there faces.

"Shut up!" I said. They laughed, that's it. My skin started fuming and I ran after them. I was just about to turn a corner when James, the leader of that tracker group from the training room I think about two weeks ago.

"What do you want?" I asked harshly. I didn't want to deal with this guy, Fane had run with the others and I lost him.

"I want to ask you on a date!" He smirked. I mentally rolled my eyes.

"I'm taken and didn't you learn your lesson last time!" I scoffed.

"Well, I understand your injured. If I punch you in your wound, it could reopen and you could lose your life." He threatened. I laughed.

"Ha! Do you think I'm scared of death, I have cheated it twice. Now king smirk-a-lot, I would like to go and find my friends." I punched him in the gut, he fell down. I ran down the hall to find five teens who might get a few burns.

Fane's P.O.V

Sage, Lily, Brooke, Luke, and I ran down the hall into the mail room. Yeah! We have a mail room for when someone gets mail. We hid amongst the piles of letters, hidden behind the mounds. I hear the door slam open, I peek and see a fuming Jaque. Literally! There is smoke coming from her skin. She looks around, but then stops when her eyes land on the wall above me, widening. I slowly come out from my hiding spot, the others following suit.

We all look where Jaque is staring. Black ice is forming in to words, we read the message as soon as the ice stopped moving.

Element Warriors,

You have caused my father's death with your convergence blast. I am now more powerful than ever and I will seek revenge. I will track you and your loved ones down until the last of your blood is eliminated. I will end what my father started, I will gain the elements. You will pay for what you have done.

My eyes widened at the message. Jaque took out her phone and took a picture of the wall before the ice melted. We don't usually use our phones since we are always together. We went and showed the picture to our grandparents, Luke and Brooke went somewhere else. As our grandparents read the message,their eyes widened with each word. We know something is wrong, because our grandparents are being quiet.

"What's wrong?" Lily, Sage, Jaque, and I said at the same time.

Grandmother Timberwood looked up at us, with her eyes filled with fear.

"Logan, he gained his father's powers, his abilities, his evil. He is coming after you four with the taste for revenge." She answered.

My heart felt like it was going to stop, I felt waves of fear coming from Lily, Jaque, and Sage. We gasped! We all know there is only one way to solve this. We have to fight Logan and let him perish.
