3rd Person POV

The Young Justice team were located in the training room. Robin(Tim) was battling against Conner, Wonder Girl was battling against Blue Beatle, Bat Girl was battling Bumble Bee, and the rest were in the kitchen. Nightwing sat on the couch with a computer on his lap. He had gotten a job request from Blüdhaven's police force to be a detective. He had to type a 4-page essay on his experience with crime and the risks he would be entering.

He hadn't told his family yet about the job and wasn't planning on it. He didn't want to see the upset faces of his brothers and maybe father when he told them that he would have to leave the manor. He sighed and shut off the computer placing it back in the bag he brought it in.

"Homework? Aren't, you like done with school?" Nightwing turned his head to see a familiar redhead with a bag of laze chips in his hands

"It's for a job." Wing simply stated

"Oh, and what does Daddybats think of this?" Wally asked a smirk forming on his lips as he did so

The ravenette sighed and looked away from his best friend. "Hasn't had the chance to because he doesn't know."

"You know Dick you were never good at hiding things, especially from Bruce. Just tell the man, besides he can't do anything about it your 21." Wally said and Dick sighed

"The Big Three.....Somethings not right." Nightwing muttered and got up from the couch heading to the Zata-Beams

Nightwing and Kid Flash rushed into the main room. The whole YJ team was crowded around what looked to be Superman and Wonder Woman but no Batman. Nightwing pushed himself through the crowd making to the front but stopped once he was there.

"Well, I'll be damned.." He breathed sliding his hand over his mouth

In Wonder Woman's arms was a small boy about 3 or 4. He had jet black hair and crystal blue eyes that sparkled with embarrassment. An oversized black shirt hugged his small body. He reached his hands out and made a grabbing motion towards the black and blue vigilantly. Nightwing took the small boy away from Wonder Woman, who smiled, and he immediately dug his face into the man's shoulder.

"What happened?" Nightwing asked the two league members in front of him

"Ivo created a new age machine of sorts. The machines job is to stop a person in time but the machine didn't work as the man wanted it to. Without warning, it went off and hit Batman before he could dodge it." Superman said

Bruce grabbed the clothing of Nightwings suit and clenched it in his tiny hands. Dick knew he was getting uncomfortable and already embarrassed out of his mind. He rubbed soothing circles on the boys back.

"Team to the Mission Room." Nightwing announced and the YJ ran to out of the Hanger

Nightwing attempted to hand Bruce back to Diana but the boy clung onto his neck. "Bruce you're making this really hard." Dick mumbled to the boy who "Hmphed" in reply. Eventually, much to Bruce's dismay, he was pulled off of Nightwing and handed back to Wonder Woman.

"You are to retrieve the machine Ivo created that caused Batman to be in the state he's in. However, I don't want you fighting the man without Leauge help. Understood?" Nightwing said and got nods in reply

"I will not be joining you on this mission for I as you know have things to deal with. Robin and Batgirl will also not be participating so I leave you in the hands of Miss Martian and Superboy." Nightwing informs and dismisses the team
