It is now Friday and I am excited for this date.I have been walking around the house smiling all day. I did not go to school today because Mia needed help. Mia and me were laying down on my bed up stairs talking.

"I have a date tonight" I said turning my head her way

"Really with who"Mia said smiling

"His name is Ace" I said smiling from ear to ear

"Does he treat you good" She asked

"Of course, but there's a problem"I said frowning

"What is it" Mia asked sitting up

"He is in a different gang then dad" I said sitting up up and looking at her

"It we'll be ok but wait your dad is out the game" Mia said and I shook my head and so did Mia after a few

"It we'll be ok" she said rubbing my back

"I hope so" I said frowning but then a idea popped in my head

"Would you help me pick out a outfit for tonight" I asked

"Yes" Mia yelled jumping up and down.

I was watching Mia as she looked through my closet.

"OMG you should wear this" Mia said holding up my strapless pink dress that is short in the front and long in the back and I smiled to let her know I liked it

"Ok and will you do my hair" I asked smiling

"Oh course baby girl"Mia said walking out my room.

I was walking in the living room and I saw my dad sitting in front of my phone.

"Hey daddy"I said kissing his cheek

"Hey baby girl"my dad said smiling

"Nothing and daddy can I go out with a friend tonight"I said batting my eyes

"Ya baby girl and why are you not in school"My dad asked looking at me

"Mia needed my help with something" I said

"Oh ok"Dad said looking at me

My dad and me were watching Black Coffee when my phone started vibrating and I jumped up and saw it was Ace telling me he was picking me up at 5:30 and I sent back a ok real quick.

"Who's that" My dad said making me jump

"Just a friend" I said holding my crest

"Don't no friend make you jump like that" Dad said

"You just scared me" I said and he just shook his head

I was in the middle of the movie when Mia came in

"You ready"she asked me

"Yea" I getting off the couch

"We're you going"Dad asked me

"To hang out with a friend" I said

"Well then why don't you just wear that then" My Dad pointing at my t-shirt and my yoga pants and I just walked out because I did not know the answer

When we got up stairs Mia puled up the flat-iron and got her makeup lined up.

"Go get in the shower"she pointing to the bathroom. I got in the shower for 30mins , I dryed off and slipped on my underwear and I put on my bra.

"Time to put on your dress" Mia said handing me the dress and I slipped it on and she zipped it up. I was sitting behind the mirror getting my hair flat-ironed and then my make-up.
