Alex pov

I heard my door bell and I got nervous. I was waiting for Kelly to come over and talk about our kiss and my real job.

I opened the door for her with a smile on my face.

'Hey Kelly, thanks for coming over'

'I'm glad you asked me over' she said as she huged me and planted a kiss on my cheek.

'Please take a sit. I want to speak with you about something important.'

'Okay you sound serious. Is everything okay?' she asked as she sit on my sofa.

'Yeah don't worry. I just don't want to be any secrets between us. I'm not saying that I'm going to tell you all of them at once because trust me, it's a lot to process even in small pieces. Okay so you know that I'm an agent right?' I was getting even more nervous now

'Yeah an FBI agent' she answered

'Yeah it's about that. I was an agent at the DEO for a long time, but now I'm the director of it.' I said to her as I look at the floor.

'Okay hold on. What does DEO mean?' she was a little shocked but she was truly curious.

'Department of Extra-Normal Operations'

'So this means that you are working with Supergirl to save Earth?' she asked me

'Yeah in nutshell we can say that'

'Okay that's cool' she said to me just like I would tell her it'll be sunny tomorrow

'Aren't you mad at me? I lied to you for months.' I looked at her. I could tell she wasn't mad at me for anything. I would say she was graceful.

'Yes you did because of your loved one. And I'm glad you're ready to share things like this with me now.' she said with a smile

'What do you mean the first part?'

'You just tried to take care of Kara'

This cannot happening with me. Not again. Also it's kinda funny that all my girlfriends known Kara's identity before I would say a word to them.

'How did you find out?' I was really curious because she wasn't working with her like Maggie did.

'That's easy. I know you and the way you spoke about your sister and Supergirl is the same. Don't forget that I'm a therapist.' she said proudly

'Well that makes sense to me' I giggled

God she is beautiful and I felt safe again. I didn't feel this good for a long time now. I felt lonely and now I had someone to share my thoughts with.

She reached out and held my hand.

'What are you thinking?' she asked

'I was just thinking that how good it feels to be next to you and be able to share this with you without being afraid of that you'll be mad at me or judge me because of my work or my family members.' I smiled at her

'I would never do that.'

She looked me in the eye and I saw pure love in it. Don't get me wrong I know that we only kissed once and we barely know each other but I felt like she could be the one for me.

I looked in her brown eyes and then at her lips. I was kinda waiting for her nods which followed my actions. I leaned in and she did it too. Our lips met for the second time.

This time it wasn't as afraid and solid as the last one. Our lips moved together until I licked her lower lip hoping she will give me what I asked for. She opened her mouth for me.

The kiss got more heated and I knew that if I won't stop it now I wouldn't do it later either.

'That was...ommm...wow' I tried to caught my breath.

'Yeah we can say that....It's late...I think I should go now' she said as she breathed heavily.

'What are you doing on tomorrow night?' I asked her

'Nothing why?'

'Would you like to go on a date with me? I asked her nervously

'Yeah of course' her eyes got even more bigger just like her smile did

'Do you like the Italian kitchen? I know a place not so far from here.'

'Yes I do'

'Then I'll pick you up at 8 o'clock if it's okay for you'

'Yes it's. I can't wait.' Kelly was so adorable standing in my doorway ready to go but not so sure if she wanted to go herself.

'Good night Kelly. Write me as soon as you got home safely' I kissed her one last time not carrying about how girlfriendly I sounded before.

'Good night, Al' she kissed my cheek before she left.
