Lena's pov

I heard a knock on my office's door. I didn't want to see anybody because I had to do a ton of work to do.

'I'm busy' I shouted at the closed door hoping that they will go away, I didn't even bother to look up.

Clearly it didn't work because the next thing I recognize was the sound of my door as it opened.

'Well that's not the kind of welcoming I was hope for.' She giggled at me

'Kara it's you' I got up immediately and walked to her. I melted into her arms. I was reliefed to be with her after this day.

'Yesy it's me, baby' she kissed me gently

'What time is it? Last time I checked it was only 10 o'clock. Is something wrong?' I was getting worried

'Baby it's 2 p.m. Don't you tell me that you haven't had a break for all!' now she was the one worring about me

'Ohh..well I haven't' I knew she hated when I work to much

'Okay then now it's time to sit down with me and eat a proper lunch. I bought kale for you. It's smelly but I know you love it.'

'I love you so much' I told her as I kissed her cheek

'I hope you do. Now let's eat.'

'Are you going to eat kale with me?' I must sound too happy because she started to laugh

'Of course not, silly' she kissed my neck 'I bought potstickers for myself'

We sat down and eat together. There was no need to talk, we just enjoyed each other companies.
After 20 minutes I remember my phone call from earlier.

'Umm, Kara....I got a call earlier today and one of my companies are going to host an event where I have to attend....so I thought....maybe...' I got nervous 'I just wanted to ask if you would come with me as my date'

'You mean you want to introduce me as your girlfriend?' she asked a little bit shy

'Only if it's okay with you' I was so nervous

'You mean if I would like to hold your hand in public and kiss you whenever I want to... because I would like to do that for so long' her face lit up and her eyes were full with love

'God what did I do to deserve you?' I kissed her like there was no tomorrow

'When will they host the party?' she asked after we broke apart

'Tomorrow at 8 p.m. I'm gonna pick you up at 7 at your apartment if it's okay to you' I said easily

'What should I wear? I guess in my usual outfit I would be underdressed.'

'Don't worry my love. I'll send you a dress in the afternoon. The only question is if you would like to have  matching dresses or not' I could tell we were both excited at this point

'Matching of course' she looked into my eyes with pure love

'Then it's settled. I can't wait until tomorrow night' I have never  been this excited about anything before

We sat there for an hour more talking and holding hands until we had to go back to our separate life.

Later that day I heard on the News that Supergirl saved a little girl from a burning building with 20 other people, I felt so proud.

I know at first I was mad at her for not telling me who she really is but now I know why.

If I would be honest I worried about her all day long because I know she would go into that burning building without hesitation on any day.

It's a light chapter I know but I just love those episodes where they're just sitting in the office and having a lunch break together.

Also I hope I'll be able to post that smut chapter I mentioned before on this week.

About the comic con: I can't believe what I saw in the thriller (If you haven't seen is you should but be careful DO NOT WATCH IT BEFORE BED TIME.) Even if it broke my hart I can't be more excited about this season.

And those extra information like we're gonna have a 6th season 😍 and Chyler is gonna direct one of the episode 😍😍😍 God I live her so much
