We're up early in the morning again, packing and getting on another Ferry. This time to Santorini. Now, this is what I've been most excited for. The sun glances off the white buildings of the island, contrasting against the rich blue waters of the Aegean Sea. It's magical. We take our time getting to our accomodation, absorbing our first moments on this wonderful island. The first thing we come across is a donkey, surprisingly the first we've seen since being in Greece. We get far to excited over a donkey. Elton, telling me from behind his camera as I walk ahead of him towards said donkey
"Hey Rey."
"Yeah?"
I ask, turning to him
"Yeah?"
"Nice ass."
I turn looking over my shoulder at my ass and going along with the bit
"Oh yeah? Thank you. I've been working out."
He points the camera to the donkey and back at me
"I meant the- the donkey right there."
Still running with the bit, I act bashful
"Oh yeah- because donkeys are also known as asses. Right, yeah."
He awkwardly agrees
"Yeah..."
I state, patting the donkey
"But yeah, he is a nice ass."
We laugh at our exchange, and I tell him
"I'm stealing that joke and doing it to Colby."
They finally join us, Colby next to me patting the donkey too, I turn my camera on him
"Colby."
He smiles at me, glimpsing at my camera close on him
"What?"
"Nice ass."
He chuckles, nodding at the donkey
"He's a very nice ass."
I shake my head, going a different rout with the joke
"No no," I point my camera down at his ass "I mean nice booty."
He giggles, smirking
"Why thank you. It's the Taco Bell."
We continue on, only to discover Elton has booked us ass rides to our Oia accommodation. I feel bad, and only get on one when the guy running the trips tells me about a weight limit they have implemented to ensure the donkeys are treated humanely and that I am far under that limit. We're all under that limit, and so are our bags. Assured, I get on. I have a nice donkey, his name is Achilles. I love it, I've always said if I had a cat I'd name him Achilles. Archie for short. It's an amazing experience, riding along the cobble stone alleys and roads in a line, looking out over the water and buildings. It's only a twenty minute trip until we get to the place we've rented. Elton explains once we've dismounted and met the owner outside who passes over the keys to us.
"Okay, we have a villa up there that sleeps three and a cave house down there that sleeps two."
Wonderful. Another four sleepless nights. Before I state that I'll take the villa with Elton and Heath, Colby speaks up
"Rey and I call the cave house."
The others look between us curiously, Brennan and Heath smirking. Elton at least seems to be examining me to make sure I'm good with it. I nod, I will be. He hands me the key to the house
"Okay, you two are just down that alley on the right. This little courtyard will be our meeting spot."
I grin
"Gotcha. How long?"
"An hour."
Colby accepts, taking my bag for me
"See you then."
I skip after him down the little, secluded alley. Feet hitting the cobblestone, white walls rising up either side of us, pink plants peeking out over the top. We emerge out the other end, near the edge of a cliff. More buildings below the edge. Turning right, we instantly see a blue door in the side of a white dome, this is us. I open it up, letting Colby enter first with the bags. It's small, but enchanting. Decorated in creams and blues like the rest of the island, but almost with a modern touch in the furniture. Completely glass coffee table- legs and all- with a big rock in the centre coming through the glass. Couch created out of part of the wall jutting out. From the living room, a door exits out onto a flat deck, no railings or anything, with a clear view out over the water. Deck chairs and a table waiting ready. Further into the house we find the kitchen and small laundry enclosed in a cupboard. A quaint little window with blue shutters sits over the sink, opening out to show a view of the city. Opposite to that though, is another door that exits into our own pool. Much like the pool I had in my suite in Mykonos, in its own cave but opening out with a view over the water. In the wall between is the bathroom, everything looking like they were made out of the smooth rock walls. From the wall of the shower, the bathtub, even the basin. It's amazing, except for-
"Are you seeing a bedroom or am I going insane?"
Colby speaks my mind. And he's right. We've looked around this whole place- hell, I've vlogged it- and haven't come across a bedroom. Confused, we look for it again, around the whole house. Nothing. Thats when I decide that maybe the ladder stuck to a huge protrusion in the living room of the wall separating the living room and kitchen may not just be a random decoration. Climbing it to test my theory, I was right. The bed is on top of the protruding wall, mattress sunken in making it flat and invisible unless you climb up here. It's a huge bed too, king. Too big to roll of the edge of the ledge, unless you're an idiot. Which I am, so for safety, I'll take the side with a wall. I laugh, calling down from 'upstairs'
"Hide and seek. Count to ten!"
There's a pause, but I hear him start counting anyway despite the confused tone in his voice.
"One... two."
I lay with my head to the ladder, looking down on him when he enters the living room again.
"Boo."
He tilts his head back, looking up at me
"Is that the bed?"
I laugh, nodding
"Come on up."
He does, grabbing the ladder and making his way up it, falling down next to me. He chuckles, rolling on his side to look over the edge
"This is sick."
I tell him
"It was kinda obvious, wasn't it? This huge ass protrusion of wall had to have a purpose."
He shrugs
"And what, we thought the random ladder was some kind of Grecian decor?"
I laugh with him, and collapse back next to him, staring up at the domed roof.
"It was generous of you forsaking your honeymoon with Brennan to take this room with me to ensure I have a good nights sleep."
He shrugs
"What are friends for..."
Blow to the chest, again. Even though it shouldn't be. I hope it didn't appear that it was either, I slide off the bed, back onto the ladder and stating
"I'm going to freshen up before we meet the guys. You should too."
He smirks
"You saying I look like shit?"
I wink, making my way down.

After meeting up with the others, we head off to begin our exploring. The location of our accommodation is crazy too. Just a few steps away from the famous three blue domes. As we walk, we stumble into more markets. I'm grateful too, because as soon as we do, I sight a stand offering cappuccino freddo. I rush up to them, ordering for us all knowing we're all hankering for a coffee
"Ah... five, please."
I hold up five fingers just in case English fails me. I wish I knew Greek. The man behind the stall chuckles, claiming
"Of course, dear."
Heavy accent, very good English. I smile
"Thank you."
He's joined behind the stall, a lady around his age. Probably both in their sixties. She coos
"Pretty girl, you are."
I wave it off
"You're too kind."
She chuckles, commenting
"I bet you're getting much male attention in Greece aren't you?"
I laugh
"I wouldn't say that."
She jerks her head to the right, and I look in the direction she indicates. Seeing a group of younger men walk past us, all watching me. She hits them with a wave, and they turn around, busted. We laugh together, and I tell her
"Everyone in Greece is so beautiful it's a shame I have a boyfriend back home."
Her and her husband laugh, she introduces
"My name is Donna, my husband is Eros."
I hum
"Ooh, as in Eros the God of love?"
He hands me over the first of the drinks
"What else?"
I giggle, introducing myself
"I'm Alaska. It's a pleasure to meet you both."
Donna leans in closer to me, asking
"What is the name of the boy with blue hair behind you?"
I glimpse back, seeing Colby looking around some jewellery stall a few meters away. I answer
"His name is Colby."
She taps my arm with the back of her hand
"You say your boyfriend is back home? He is standing right there."
I shake my head, correcting
"Not my boyfriend. He's just a good friend."
She makes a sound of disbelief
"Well," she begins "I hate to be the one to tell you but there is something there. Between you and Colby."
I sigh, explaining
"There was a little while ago."
She assures me
"Take it from someone who has been around the block, when you've been with one person. The right person. It's never done. Isn't that right, Eros?"
He hums his agreement with his wife. Handing me the finished drinks. It must be their story. And she can see it in Colby and I. I tell her
"You must have very good intuition."
She winks, touching my face.
"We're here everyday. Come back. I like you."
I sip the coffee, and almost orgasm. I tell her
"Oh, I will for sure be back here." I smile between them "See you soon. Thank you."
Eros touches my shoulder
"You're very welcome, dear."
The guys swamp me for their drinks, Brennan stating
"What with you and Greeks. Everyone loves you."
I smile
"They were just such a cute old couple."
We browse through the markets, eat some more street food and homemade Greek desserts before venturing on and finishing a full day of exploring.
