Finally, their ship arrives at Altea. Lance realizes that he is suddenly nervous to be back, but he isn't completely sure why.

It is currently nighttime on Altea. The beautiful landscapes and impressive buildings glisten in the starlight as Keith lands his ship near the new Castle of Lions, still under construction.

"Um... Does anyone know we're coming?" Lance asks. Everything around them is peaceful and quiet, save for a couple of guards stationed outside the front of the castle. He expected at least a few people to come out and greet them, but even the guards look surprised.

"I've been trying to reach Coran this whole time," Keith says. "But all I've gotten in return is silence."

"Oh, well that's encouraging..." Lance says sarcastically. He then follows as Keith begins to exit the ship.

"Wait, shouldn't we wait a while?" Hunk asks. "I mean, everybody's probably sleeping right now."

Everyone else stares at him blankly.

"We've come a long way, Hunk," Keith says. "I'm not going to let something as insignificant as timing stop me."

As everyone disembarks, Hunk shrugs and follows suit.

As the gang approach the castle, one of the guards holds his hand up. "Halt!" He shouts. "Identify yourselves!"

The other guard smacks him on the shoulder

The other guard smacks him on the shoulder. "What are you doing? Don't you recognize them?"

The first guard stares long and hard, especially at Lance and his Altean markings. So long that Lance begins to feel uncomfortable.

The second guard rolls his eyes, and then turns his attention back to the visitors. "Apologies, Paladins of Voltron. Bellin is new..."

"Pa-Pa-Paladins? Of Voltron?!" Bellin stammers. He falls to the ground, bowing, causing the second guard to put his hand to his forehead and shake his head. "I apologize for my lack of recognition. You guys are legends! I am so very happy to meet you."

"Uh... thank you?" Keith says.

"We're really no different than anyone else," Pidge says. "You really don't have to bow... really."

Bellin nods and stands back up, smiling wide with excitement.

"Well, we did help save the universe and junk," Lance says with his most charming smile. "That is kind of a big deal."

Seriously, Lance? Maybe you should add the word 'humility' to your vocabulary.

As Allura places this thought into his head, his markings begin to glow again. They especially appear brighter in the blackness of the night, causing the two guards to stare in awe and amazement.
