Once everyone returned to Altea, Shiro was welcomed back with open arms. He barely remembers dying (again), and he is sorry to have missed the adventure the others had without him. But he is thrilled to be back with his friends, and promises to be there for them more from here on out. He had to adjust to the news of Keith and Pidge's relationship, but he is very happy for them.

Allura's coronation went amazingly well, as expected. Though it is hard for all of her close friends to get used to calling her Queen Allura instead of Princess Allura. She is now ruling Altea with every bit of the love and grace everyone knew she would, and Coran is there to help her every step of the way. She still has amazing abilities, but decides not to use them as she believes it is not fair for one being to have that much power.

Once Lance's family heard that he and Allura were engaged, and that Veronica was dating Bellin, they realized that their children's lives were now on Altea. For a while they tried to accept this, continuing to keep up the farm on Earth. But they missed Lance and Veronica way too much, and everyone --Mr. and Mrs. McClain, Rachel, Marco, and Luis and Lisa with Silvio and Nadia-- all decided to try out life on Altea. They moved the entire farm, Kaltenecker and all, to a huge area of land full of beautiful juniberries. They continue to work on the farm there, introducing fruits and vegetables from Earth to the Alteans, happy to be together.

It took a while for Keith and Pidge to finally get things figured out. Keith stayed on Earth for a few phoebs with the Holts while he and Pidge talked things through, and she continued to help her family with technological projects at the Galaxy Garrison (she and Matt finally finished Chip). But Pidge could see that Keith wasn't totally content being away from the Blade of Marmora's relief efforts, and she agreed to go with him and help out. She was happy to discover that there were indeed ways for her to research and create new technology to assist the war-affected planets' residents in rebuilding their lives. She and Keith are still together, happier than they've ever been.

Shiro continued to work at the Garrison, teaching new cadettes and going on missions. But he never went on a mission alone again, and has avoided dying for a third time thus far.

Hunk returned to his life as a chef, and discovered a life with Shay. The two of them aren't the most conventional of couples, but they don't care. They are happy with each other and happy with what they are doing with their lives, and that is all that matters to them.

Romelle continues to serve on Altea happily as Queen Allura's lady-in-waiting. She did eventually get over Keith, and is extremely happy for him and Pidge. She has never found a relationship herself, but she knows that the love of her family and friends is all that she needs.

Veronica and Bellin remained together, and are very happy. They tell their children of the grand adventure that brought them together... though some of it might be a little bit embellished, when Veronica tells it.

Lance and Queen Allura's wedding was the most beautiful event the galaxy had seen in deca-phoebs. Though being married to Allura technically gives Lance the title of 'king,' he doesn't consider himself any kind of royalty and still refers to himself as 'just a boy from Cuba.' Allura is the true ruler of Altea, but he is there for love and support any time she needs him.

The statue of Allura still remains in its place outside the castle in remembrance of the great sacrifice she made, but beside it is now a statue of Lyna in her honor. Her selfless act continues to be told of and spread throughout the universe.

Also outside of the castle are the Lions of Voltron, stationed like statues themselves. Waiting for a time where they may be needed again, but hoping that a time like that never has to come. Visitors gaze upon them in amazement, thankful for all they have done for the universe.

The Paladins (former and current) continue their weekly video chat. Even though they are not always together physically, they are glad to still know that they have each others' backs should they need one another. Their friendships continue to grow stronger, even as their lives move in different directions...
