"Ah, they are going to be here in fifth-teen minutes! The pizza takes thirty-five minutes to cook." Kara scrambles around preparing her loft with snacks and game equipment. Nia sighs. "Calm down Kara, just use your heat vision no biggie, I'll set up."

"Right, this is a job for a Super." Kara says in her confident Supergirl voice, tilting her glasses down, releasing her new purple heat vision.

Bzzzzzzzz

"Perfect! I've always been bad at cooking anyways." Nia laughs and replies at Kara's remark. "And here I was thinking you were good at everything." Kara laughs.

"Clark!" Kara zooms to the front door opening it before James and Clark can knock. Clark is surprised. "Woah Kara you are super excited. Did I miss something, is it karaoke night?" Kara immediately speaks due to her being energized. "I wish, but trivia night will be just as fun!" Kara says as she brings her cousin into a hug.

The two partake in a super strong hug. "Congratulations on the Pulitzer Prize, Kara!" Kara hugs with enough force to compact a semi truck, cracking his back. "Oh and you are a lot stronger than I remember." Clark says jokingly but in discomfort. "Oh, oh, I'm sorry I was just so happy to see you on Earth. It was difficult without you." James just watches the strange interaction with a lot of confusion.

"It's not the first time you have saved the world without me." Clark says smoothly with his charismatic voice. James nods in agreement and adds in. "Kara you don't need Superman to help you save the day anymore. You're the best of the best now." Kara smiles, "Thanks guys, truly."

"Oh I almost forgot. Here's some Kryptonian salad I brought from Argo City." Clark hands the beautifully decorated salad to Kara.

Brainy and Alex arrive with J'onn. "I'm glad you all could make it." Kara lets in her guests. "Brainiac 5 here to make the best game of trivia ever!" Brainy salutes Kara seriously. "I love your enthusiasm, we are ready to go once Lena gets here." Brainy puts down his arm. "Yes ma'am, affirmative." Everyone laughs at Brainy's seriousness.

Ding dong

"Lena's here!" Kara walks over to open the door. "You are fashionably late as always." Lena responds, "Oh Kara, you know me so well."

Lena holds up one of the wine bottles she carried in and announces, "I brought red and white again!" "Here I'll take those." James awkwardly grabs the wine bottles to set them in the fridge. Kara and Lena make a stare and giggle together. Lena excuses her lateness because of the hospital. "I was running late because I had to deal with the police at the children's hospital."

"Oh how did that turn out, Lena?" Alex asks. "Quite well actually, no injuries, and Supergirl stopped the man. Half of the building was burned but if it wasn't for Kara half of those children would have gotten injured." James butts in, "How did Kara know, nothing was on the news?"

Kara hesitates, "I, I. Uh... Alex called me! Right... while I was riding my bike this afternoon. Ha ha. A reporter always knows what's going on in National City. " Everyone in the room besides Lena gives her an extremely confused look. They all know she doesn't even own a bike. Kara is so bad at lying. Everyone awkwardly laughs to make the conversation not suspicious. Alex eyes at her like 'You seriously haven't told her.' Kara eyes back and shrugs.

They all sit down to eat the homemade pizza and freshly squeezed lemonade. Alex stands up and begins a toast. "Congratulations to the best sister in the whole wide world. You have accomplished so many great things this year and I couldn't be any more proud." Alex passes it on to Clark.

"Congrats on winning the Pulitzer Prize for Journalism, I may even have to learn from you some day. Your dedication and bravery is phenomenal. I can't imagine National City without you in it." Kara is humbled and waving her hands in slight embarrassment.
