After talking to Nia about the dream they make their way into the main office for a meeting. It's where members from each section of CatCo meet up in James' office to take topics to report on. Before everyone arrives an intern hands Kara a cup of fresh coffee. "Good morning Miss Danvers. Good luck on your interview." Kara responds to the younger woman. "Awe thank you, have a nice day."

Kara and Nia smile at each other in enthusiasm across the room and the meeting begins.

James starts his announcements. "Alright I need someone to take one on the downfall of the subway systems in National City." One of the reporters raises their hand. "Jessica it's all yours. I got more on public safety and some potentially corrupt businesses. But I just read up on this really interesting one. It's alien related." James eyes at Nia and Kara.

James turns up one of the TV's that has the news report on the topic. A news lady begins talking. "Overnight a mysterious alien symbol has been spotted all over the world. Trees ands plants have grown into this shape and markings have been made in crops and in deserts. Ecuador, Mexico, Northern Canada, South Africa, New Zealand, China, the Middle East, Spain, France, and Iceland are just a few places where they have been spotted." Aerial views from helicopters show the massive symbols, the screen jumps from area to area.

James mutes the TV. "Kara I think you should take this one." Kara is zoned out. "Kara?" She tilts her head and begins blinking again. "You said you read up on it this morning." She clears her throat. "Where in France was it spotted?"

"If I'm correct France has four reports. One north of Paris, one south of Clermont, one south of Rennes, and one west of Bordeaux." James totally butchers all of the names except Paris. "Did it say how far west it was from Bordeaux." Kara says the city's name with a heavy French accent, and the correct way it's pronounced.

"If I recall it was eighteen miles away." James is suspicious of Kara's excess questions.

Before James can finish the last syllable in 'away', Kara converts the units of measurements in her head without even thinking. "C'est trente kilomètres! I'll take the case." Kara rushes out the door.

James is wondering why Kara is acting so weird. "Since when does Kara speak French?" All the reporters shrug. The grumpy lead reporter Snapper is never not surprised at how odd Kara is, so he groans.

Nia takes the topic on fashion because she already has an article done. She wants to help Kara. After the meeting Nia enters Kara's office. "Hey, what was that all about?"

Kara stops reading up on the mysterious symbol. "This morning I woke up thirty kilometers west of Bordeaux. The woman I talked to told me that. And guess what? That symbol was found on her farm."

"Were you the one to make all those giant symbols?" Nia guesses.

"I'm almost positive. It's the symbol of Rao." Kara says this with certainty because she knows her own planet's religion very well. She has seen it in the Book of Rao and in her father's laboratory.

"I want to help you on this case, I already had an article done just so I could help you. Please." The inexperienced girl pleads.

"I'll take whatever help I can get since we already know all about who made them, and she's dying to know herself." Kara says it jokingly. "Thank you." Nia smiles. Then she continues the joking banter. "Wait, since when do you speak French?"

Kara shrugs. "I used to watch those romantic French movies when I was lonely in high school."

A new voice joins conversation. "Did you know little Miss Kara Danvers became fluent in Spanish after just three weeks in the class." Alex has barged into Kara's new office. "By the second quarter she ended up teaching the class after she kept correcting the teacher so much."
