i feel like there was some sort of deeper meaning behind kara wearing pure white when everyone else on krypton in her family wore blue or red. it also was a sign that kara didn't belong there under the influence of the black mercy. so i think it was meant all along that she was supposed to go to earth and that in her heart she belonged on earth. also! when she first found argo city she wore a blue-grey robe to fit in while exploring and then she found her mom. then she made a trip back planning to live on argo city with her people, the way she was supposed to. she wore light grey and she was unable to live like everyone else due to her concerns about the strange things going on in the city and worries about earth. through her time on argo city and having a purpose to go back she falters between the two lives. until finally she realizes that her purpose in life is to be on earth. she's wearing pure white then. so she never wears color when she's in a kryptonian related place besides her suit. so i think that symbolizes her outcast from krypton

Kara is rushing as hastily as possible to the DEO to tell Alex everything, the truth about herself that she just found out.

The Super makes a dramatic entrance into the DEO causing papers to be blown around and causing heads to tilt towards the caped hero. The dramatic entrance wasn't because of the new suit, it was to talk to Alex, but the agents begin to clap anyways.

Under the applause "Nice suit!" "It looks so clean and smooth!" and "I love the new suit Supergirl!" can be heard. Kara smiles and is humbled by the DEO's enthusiasm. "Thanks guys, do you know where the Director is?"

An agent points in the direction he last saw her. "She's in the lab sector over there." Kara walks over into the experimental labs to see her sister in a white lab coat next to another woman with long dark hair. They are focusing intensely on the screen in front of them studying blood cells, and strands of DNA. They are so focused on the screen that they don't even notice that Kara just entered the room.

"Alex we need to talk, like right now." The two female scientists turn around revealing the second scientists face. "Lena! What are you doing here?" Kara did not expect Lena to be joining the DEO this soon.

"Alex needed my help in DNA analysis. Given my expertise in everything related to genetics and my experience with hostile Kryptonians. Alex was in dire need of my assistance." Lena says everything simply, like it's common knowledge.

Kara relaxes her stance and goes into her casual hands on hips position, but she still has some hesitance in her voice because she's thinking. "Okay, yeah. That makes sense I'm sorry for my confusion." Kara pauses and transitions to what she is about to reveal. "I'm just currently very startled."

"What's wrong Kara?" Alex is concerned because she never sees her sister this hesistant and tense.

"It's about me. What I found out at the Fortress of Solitude." Kara begins pacing around the lab. "Kal-El is not my cousin." She is very nervous and is only able to say things one sentence at a time.

Alex jumps in before Kara can continue. Kara freezes to listen to Alex. "Lena figured that out by juxtaposing your DNA to his. You two seem to be complete strangers. But none of that makes any sense due to your family tree."

Lena pops in with her scientific finds on Kara's DNA. "By looking at you genetic sequencing we've concluded that it's genetically flawless. Kara you're somehow perfect." Lena's green eyes look at Kara like she's a star, completely intrigued.

Kara begins pacing again to alleviate the pressure in her chest. "Yes, I know. I found out that I have no relatives. My parents aren't even genetically close to me."
