I drew in a deep breath. God, what was that horrible smell? I covered my nose as I sat up. It looked like a junkyard. But how the heck did I get there? Where were Thor and Loki? I wondered if they had made it back to Asgard in one piece because this was certainly not Asgard. I looked around in disgust before climbing to my feet. My body ached, but I had to find a way back to Asgard.
A ship was landing a short distance away from me and I watched it carefully. It opened and a few odd-looking people walked out.
Yup. I'm not in Asgard anymore.
"Are you a fighter or are you food?"
My face scrunched up in disgust. Alright, so maybe those people weren't there to be nice. "Try to take a bite out of me and you'll no longer have a mouth to chew with."
"Ah, it is a fighter!" He said with excitement in his tone.
"No!" A woman shouted behind me. I narrowed my eyes at the sight of her. Was she drunk? "No, she will be coming with me."
Oh, someone else who probably wanted to eat me. I lifted my hand and tried to draw out my light sword. But the most that happened was a ball of light before it died out like a flame. I frowned. That usually worked... Damn Hela.
My eyes widened and found myself ducking to the ground as the woman fought off the excited men with the ease of her ship.
She then looked at me as she was finished. "You're a Goddess?"
I nodded slowly and rose to my feet as she tilted her head. "(Name) (last name), Goddess of Light. You are?"
She gave me a calculating look before she decided to answer, "Call me Brun. If your master lets, of course."
"Master?" I immediately turned defensive. "You might want to back off here, Brun. I'm not supposed to be on this planet."
"What a shame. Neither was I." She immediately attacked me and I defended myself seamlessly.
I then kicked her a few feet back, keeping distance between us. "I need to get back to Asgard."
"No one ever leaves this planet, Goddess. Get used to it." She pulled out a remote and I tensed up. Was it something else that connected to her ship?
Nope. Of course not. It was something that connected to me. My muscles twitched violently before I fell into the darkness of my mind, losing the battle against the pain of the electricity that flowed through me from my neck.
"She is a cute little thing... It is a she, correct?"
"She is."
"I'd like a closer look at this. Can we go closer? I want to go closer."
That voice... it sounded like a man. But... God did they sound childish. Where the hell did I end up this time? I rolled onto my side with a quiet groan. There were little whispers around me. Were there more people in the room?
"She's awake? Hold her up. I want to see her."
A pair of arms lifted me up to the point where I was on my knees and my eyes flashed open, trying to take in my new surroundings. Brun was standing beside another, shorter lady. But the man I heard speaking was in front of me. He was older than I imagined...
"Can it speak?" A raspy voice asked in the room. I glared in the direction, but I could barely see the speaker. It was the short woman in yellow beside Brun.
The man in front of me directed my attention back to him. "Can you speak?" He waited for a moment, but I was too confused to answer. The hell was this? "No?"
