Just to keep up appearances, Loki had a collar made for me that showed off his ownership and not the Grandmaster's. Of course, to stay in the Grandmaster's good graces, he had to keep his own appearances. It was embarrassing enough to learn that the Grandmaster had viewed everything that had gone on in that room the night Loki showed up. To Loki's relief, the sound was cut out, but every possessive touch and every intimate act was seen.
But still, that was hardly the worst part. The worst part was of him asking Loki if he would bring me and join him on his orgy ship. Loki, of course, kindly refused the offer, though was unfortunately unable to avoid the Grandmaster's every call. It was all for the sake of my safety of course. Loki would never pass me around like a sex slave.
Sadly, however, that wasn't yet the most exciting part of the week. It was the day of the Grandmaster's great game so Loki and I were attending what felt like a tailgating party. I was seated safely on his lap with his arm loosely around my waist while he told his stories of Asgard. I was looking around lazily, being silent like a good pet. But my eyes widened at seeing a mop of blond hair. "Master Loki-"
"Hush, not now pet. It can be addressed after," I huffed at his disregard for me. Of course, it was an act, but the least he could do was pay attention. No, he instead went back to his storytelling, his friends not liking that a meager pet interrupted them.
"Loki? Loki, Loki!"
Loki's gaze then found what I was trying to tell him about and his smile dropped. He propped me onto my feet as he stood. "Please, excuse me one second," He said politely as he took my arm and dragged me with him over to where Thor was sitting on a chair. "Shhhh! Sh! What? You're alive?"
"Yes, of course, I'm alive," He answered like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"What are you doing here?"
"What do you mean, what am I doing? I'm stuck in this stupid chair. Where's your chair?" His eyes narrowed on me and what I was wearing. "What? What's this? Why's she dressed like some..." He blinked, trying to come up with a word. "Whore?"
I flushed at his description of me. "It wasn't voluntary..."
"I didn't get a chair," Loki quickly answered with furrowed eyebrows. "Stop gaping at her like an idiot."
Thor tore his gaze away from me immediately. "Get me out of this one."
"I can't.'
"What?"
"I can't," Loki insisted, as he explained, "I've made friends with this man. He's called the Grandmaster. I've gained his favor. The Bifrost brought (Name) out here weeks ago-"
"Weeks ago?" His face scrunched up. "I just got here."
Suddenly the Grandmaster was right beside us and I flinched, taking a step closer to Loki. "What are you whispering about?" Both Thor and Loki were startled, too occupied to notice the Grandmaster as I had. The Grandmaster then continued, "Time works real different around these parts. On any other world, I'd be like, millions of years old. But here on Sakaar..." He paused, giving a glance to Loki and they shared the uncomfortable silence. "In any case, you know this... You call yourself Lord of Thunder?"
"God of Thunder," Thor corrected, obviously offended as he looked to Loki and me for support, "Tell him."
"I've never met this man in my life."
"He's my brother."
"Adopted."
"And her?" The Grandmaster turned his attention back to me with that weird look in his eyes, making me look away uncomfortably.
Thor growled, "Mess with her and I promise I will not go easy on you."
My face turned red as his protectiveness. It at least made me feel better to have his support on the planet.
"Is he any kind of a fighter?"
Thor's late threat should have been enough to tell him as much but Loki simply shrugged in response while Thor said again, "You take this thing out of my neck and I'll show you."
My eyes widened and I flinched, preparing for Thor to be shocked. But nothing happened to him. The Grandmaster only laughed and commented, "Now listen to that. He's threatening me. Hey, Sparkles, here's the deal. If you wanna get back to Ass-place, Assberg-"
Thor interrupted violently, "Asgard!"
The Grandmaster continued as though nothing happened, "Any contender who defeats my champion, their freedom they shall win."
"Fine. Then point me in the direction of whoever's ass I have to kick."
"That's what I call, contender! Direction would be this way, Lord."
"Loki!" Thor began to shout as he was guided from the room. "(Name)!"
Loki huffed when Thor was finally gone. "Come, little pet. You won't have to be bothered by him now. You're being such a good pet, I might have to reward you later." I gnawed on my bottom lip. We hadn't acted in bed since we found out the Grandmaster was watching us. We had been acting more privately since then. Loki found out the bathroom lacked cameras and so he had been playing around in there any chance he caught me. I knew the meaning behind his words and was encouraged by him. It wasn't a horrible game we were playing.
Later that evening it was time for the Contest of Champions. I, myself, had never seen this grand champion that was there but apparently he was a rave and was coming out tonight to face Thor. It was thrilling, to say the least.
I was laying on the sofa with my head resting on Loki's lap. His hand was passing through my hair soothingly. I almost blocked out the weak sound of the cheering from where we were.
But the Grandmaster then began to announce the competition and we listened avidly. But my jaw dropped at hearing who Thor was fighting. "Hulk?"
The Grandmaster gave us a funny look and I instantly shut my mouth. Loki's hand stopped caressing my hair. "Be silent, pet. You've not been given permission to speak." I nodded, keeping my head down after that. I hated this little show we had to put on, but I was starting to believe I didn't have any pride left from everything happening on Sakaar.
So, what happened between Thor and Hulk? Well, it was a... draw. More like: Thor was winning before the Grandmaster cheated.
I was pretty frustrated at this, but I kept my mouth shut. I was confused with how relieved Loki seemed, but I figured he was just glad that Thor was alive. I was drowsy on his lap and he leaned down by my ear. "Come now, darling. Are you going to sleep on me?"
I burrowed my face on his leg and muttered, "I do that every night, your majesty."
"Cheeky," He scoffed as he lifted me up and carried me off to our room. "Are you sleepy?" I nodded quietly and he gently set me in bed, slipping off a large portion of what I was wearing before doing the same to himself and climbing in bed beside me. "Sleep, love."
"Loki?"
"Yes?"
I paused before hesitantly asking, "Can I... I mean... go see Thor tomorrow? Being on Sakaar isn't something someone should go through alone."
He took in a breath of my scent. "Of course, love. If it will make you feel better."
I nodded my head and smiled into his chest. "I just want to make sure he's okay."
(A/N: Writers block is a deadly disease. Careful. It might be contagious. *cough cough* But I think I've got this book pretty much wrapped up! Two more chapters and we're done here! 💕 I hope we can survive until the eeeeend!)
