"Khloe, you look so hot!" Kiera yelled as she hopped out of my car. "I can't believe that Hayden hasn't asked you out yet." She laughed, throwing her head back in the process. "What the hell is he waiting for?"

"Kiera!" My eyes widened as I listened to the words that were flying out of Kiera's mouth. "Relax, you're not even drunk yet."

Yasmin giggled beside me. "Leave them alone, Kiera."

Kiera rolled her eyes as she shrugged her shoulders. "I'm only speaking the truth. Khloe told me to go for what I want, so I'm just telling her to do the exact same."

Kiera was wrong. I didn't like Hayden in that sort of way. I knew he just considered me as his friend, as well as the one and only mentor girl. "We're just friends."

Kiera leaned into me, so that her mouth was close to my ear. "Just because Aiden cheated on you, doesn't mean every other guy will."

Yasmin gasped as she pulled Kiera away from me. "Kiera! What's wrong with you? Why are you bringing that up? We haven't even stepped into the party yet."

"What?" Kiera threw her arms up in the air. "I don't mean to be so harsh, but it's true. I'm only saying this because she's my best friend and I love her. That's all." Kiera let out a heavy sigh. "Tell me it isn't true, Yas."

I knew what Kiera was saying and it truly did hurt. I've always had trust issues, but Aiden made it ten times worst.

I thought back to the time when I was just a little girl, and my parents told me that they would be together forever. They said that we could all live together as a happy family. Instead, they lied to me so that I would feel better.

I saw the look on Yasmin's face. She knew that what Kiera was saying was completely true, but she didn't want to hurt my feelings. I didn't understand why Kiera would even put her in this position.

"She's right, Yasmin." I suddenly blurted out, and both Kiera and Yasmin spun their bodies to look over at me. "Everyone already knows, so please Yasmin, don't say anything to make me feel better. I know it's true."

Yasmin looked very hesitant to speak. "I know, but she didn't have to say it in that way."

"Hey," I shockingly laughed and Kiera's eyes filled with regret. "I don't really care anymore." I mumbled, and that was the last thing I said before I walked away from my best friends and into Ariana's insanely big house.

I knew Kiera was just telling me the truth, so I couldn't hold anything against her. To be completely honest, sometimes it hurts to know the truth, but I really didn't care. I had much more important things on my mind right now.

There were so many people in Ariana's house, and for a moment I wondered how she knew this many people, but then I remembered that she didn't. She literally told Hayden that he could bring all of his friends, so here I was. Even though technically, I didn't even come here with Hayden.
