I was so blessed to have Alicia back home

I was so blessed to have Alicia back home. She was a very strong girl and I knew that.

My head was spinning though. So much had happened just within the last few days, and I was completely dumbfounded. As much as I wanted things to get back to normal, they wouldn't for a while, but we could all try.

Alicia wasn't going to be going back to school for a while. At the hospital yesterday, detectives questioned Alicia. She told them everything from her point of view. In result, Giovanni said that he would come over within the next few days to explain and discuss what was going to happen to Luna and Cadence. For now, all Giovanni wanted us to do was relax.

This whole situation was very saddening, and my heart was broken. But I couldn't mope around the house all day and be sad. I needed to get up and go to school. The support of my friends would get me through the day. I was very grateful to receive so many messages from so many people. I was even shocked to see a text message from Aiden. He still wanted to talk about something apparently very important, but he understood that I couldn't do that right now. I was thankful that he said that he would wait until I was ready.

Despite everything that happened, I could never completely stop loving Luna. I grew up with her, and she was my sister. But that doesn't mean anything. Family can betray you and I had to learn that the hard way.

Giovanni recommended that Alicia go see a therapist just to make sure that she was okay. I agreed with that statement as well because Alicia was having nightmares. She didn't understand anything that had really happened, even though mom and Andrew tried to explain it to her as best as possible.

"Alicia," I said softly and she looked up at me. "I'm going to school now. I'll see you later."

Alicia's crystal blue eyes filled with sadness. "When will I get to go to school, Khloe?" She asked as her mouth turned down into a pout. "I thought Luna and that other scary lady were taking me on vacation!"

I shook my head in shame. "No, Alicia." I mumbled quietly, because I didn't really know what else to say.

I was thankful when Andrew stepped in. "Sweetheart, we've been over this." He said softly. "What happens when someone takes a child without asking their parents first?"

Alicia thought for a second. "They get in trouble!"

"Exactly!" Andrew nodded his head. "Luna and her friend were going to take you on vacation without asking mommy and I first. Is that allowed?"

Alicia shook her head eagerly. "No! That is not allowed. Luna's friend was a scary lady!"

Mom nodded her head. "That's why we wanted to bring you back home sweetheart."

Alicia smiled as she practically jumped on top of me and I laughed. "Bye Khloe! Have fun at school!"

It was very heartwarming to see that Alicia was still the happy child I knew her to be. "Bye, Alicie." I squeezed her tighter. "Once I get home, we'll watch disney princess movies together!"
