I felt horrible when I walked into school this Monday morning.
Yasmin wouldn't talk to me. She thought that I had something to do with the fact that Hayden attacked Xander last Friday night. Little does she know, that I caught her boyfriend cheating on her, and he attacked me first in result. I begged Hayden not to go after Xander, yet he still did. I had no idea why everyone thought this was my fault but somehow they did. Even Kiera wouldn't answer my calls. She was acting like she knew something that I didn't, which was so strange because she was my best friend. I've known her for years, and I thought that she would've told me if anything was truly wrong.
I spent the whole weekend in my room, with my dog. I almost forgot all about Luna, and the situation with Cadence and Alicia.
Alicia stayed at Andrew's sisters house, just for the weekend to be safe. She should actually be coming home today. And Luna? I have no idea what's happening with her. I stayed in my room all of Saturday and Sunday, and I honestly never saw her once, but I knew that she was still at the house. I didn't want anything to do with her really.
I was somewhat thankful to see Hayden in the hallways instead of Yasmin or Xander.
He was crowded by people, because for whatever reason, it made him instantly cooler for attacking Xander.
"Hayden!" I yelled and his head snapped up in my direction. "Come here right now."
A few guys laughed around him, because apparently I was being very 'feisty' but I didn't care. I needed to talk to Hayden no matter what.
Hayden slowly walked over towards me and I grabbed his wrist quickly, pulling him around the corner.
"Woah, Khloe. Can you relax?" He laughed.
"Can I relax?" I laughed back at his statement. "On Friday you literally attacked my best friends boyfriend, and now none of my friends will talk to me!"
Hayden rolled his eyes. "I did you a favour, Khloe."
"How?" I yelled. "Violence is never the answer, Hayden. You just made things a hundred times worse! Now Xander knows both of us know his secret. Who knows what he already told Yasmin." I shook my head. "I've tried to call her so many times but she hasn't answered! I even tried to call Kiera and she won't answer either!"
Hayden took a step closer towards where I was standing. "You really want to know why I confronted Xander?"
I nodded my head. "Yes, I would really like to know."
"It's because I care about you, Khloe. I always have, okay? I don't know what you thought about me in the past, but I've always cared about you."
I was completely stunned by Hayden's sudden outburst. "What?" Was the first thing that came out of my mouth.
Hayden shook his head aggressively. "I'm tired of pretending." Hayden was talking so fast that I couldn't even process his words properly. "I'm sorry that I didn't tell you the whole truth the other day, but this is the truth, Khloe. I care about you, and I didn't want to see you get hurt by anyone."
