"Don't be nervous, Khloe."

No matter what anyone said, I was still going to be nervous. And this wasn't anyone else's fault but my own. I was just a nervous person, so the fact that other people could tell that I was nervous, made me even more anxious.

I glanced over at Hayden, "I can't help it." I then gave him a soft smile. "I don't want you to be worried though," I said firmly, making sure that Hayden understood. "I feel bad dragging you along with me in this horrible mess."

"Hey," Hayden said so softly, which made me pause and look into his eyes to determine his true emotion. "I always want to be here to support you, Khloe," Hayden stated and I let out a soft chuckle. "I like you way too much for me not to be here."

Today was a special day and I was happy that Hayden was going to be here with me.

Today is the day my family and I were going to be going to court.

My parents and Andrew had already gone over exactly what was going to happen. This was far from a trial, but Alicia's defensive lawyer Gabriella Charles, was going to ask me and Alicia a few questions in front of a judge, just to get the whole story, so then that way the judge can decide if Luna should truly plea to insanity.

My goal was never to throw my family under the bus, but even though Luna is my sister, she did something horrible, and she needs to be held accountable.

My face burned from Hayden's kind words. "Hayden!" I exclaimed, wrapping my arms around his shoulders. "You're just trying to make me blush at this point."

Hayden embraced my hug and tighten his arms around my body. "I love seeing you happy."

"Thank you," My voice was just above a whisper. "You're so sweet."

"Hey," Hayden touched my hand gently. "I got you something." He smiled gently, "I just wasn't sure when to give it to you."

I tilted my head. "Really?" I questioned and Hayden nodded his head. "Oh," I covered my mouth with my hands. "You didn't have to get me anything." I shrugged my shoulders. "It isn't my birthday." A laugh left my mouth.

Hayden rolled his eyes. "Oh, I know." He laughed. "I'll be right back."

And with that Hayden walked out of my room, and by the quick footsteps, I assumed that he was going downstairs.

I had no idea what Hayden was planning to bring upstairs into my room, but my heart was full because he got me something especially on a day like today, where my nerves were shooting through the roof.

A few minutes later I heard my door open, and I quickly turned around.

Hayden was walking into my room with a large rectangle looking box.

Although I was highly confused, I jumped off my bed and ran over towards Hayden because it did look slightly heavy. "Let me help you with this."

"No, it's completely fine." Hayden laughed, sitting the object down onto my floor. "There, it wasn't so bad."
