"Are you excited about your date tonight?" Kiera smiled as she glanced over at me. "Because... I know that I am!" She was practically jumping up and down. "Yasmin and I were right."
I rolled my eyes as I looked over at Yasmin. "Yas, did you take part in Kiera's foolish activities?" I questioned.
Yasmin giggled as she shrugged her shoulders. "What can I say?" She questioned. "Kiera and I were very excited for you and Hayden, especially because we know your history together."
I nodded my head. "Let's talk about you," I stated and Yasmin's eyes widened slightly. "How's Reece?" A loud laugh left my mouth.
Yasmin jumped to her feet and stared at Kiera. "No way you told her, Kiera!" She laughed as she crossed her arms over her chest. "There's barely anything going on between us."
Kiera rolled her eyes. "Yasmin, of course, I had to tell Khloe. Who else would I tell?"
"I have to say," I mumbled flipping my hair over my shoulders. "It hurts to know that you didn't want your best friends to know about Reece."
"Oh, stop being so dramatic." Yasmin smiled. "I just didn't want anyone to think that I was moving on too fast or that—"
"Stop right there." I quickly blurted out, and confusion washed over Yasmin's face. "We would never think that of you, Yasmin." I gave her a reassuring smile. "You have every right to move on from Xander. Everyone knows that you'll always love him, but no one expects you to sit around and cry all day. You're still young, girl! There's plenty of fish in the sea!".
"You did not just say that, Khlo!" Yasmin laughed.
Kiera nodded her head. "I think she just did, and I think that you should listen to her."
Yasmin held out her hands defensively. "Okay, okay I will, but this isn't about me! It's about Khloe and her date with Hayden!" She practically screamed and Kiera nodded her head eagerly. "Where are you guys going? What are you going to wear, Khloe?"
It felt as if Yasmin was throwing a million questions my way. "I have no idea." I shook my head. "He didn't tell me anything! He just said that he'll be here at seven and then he told me to wear something nice."
"Okay," Kiera nodded her head. "Then he's probably taking you somewhere nice." She glanced over at my closet. "I think you should wear a dress, something that's simple and elegant. We shouldn't go too overboard."
It was currently Saturday, and some time in the afternoon. I had called Yasmin and Kiera over in a panic because I had no idea where Hayden was taking me.
Since we didn't have school today, I hadn't seen Hayden all day. This morning, he called me to tell me how excited he was for our date and I told him happily on the phone that I was excited too.
This was my first date in a while, so it was expected that I would be nervous and Kiera and Yasmin knew that. Plus, I didn't want to mess anything up between Hayden and I. He was one of the very few guys that were truly caring.
