Seeing his chest rising and falling was the only thing keeping me sane. I knew he just needed a little bit of time and I gave it to him, until finally he stirred from his sleep. I had been pacing the room when I heard the soft groan come from the back of his throat. I rushed over and sat next to him on the bed.

"Hey." I spoke softly and laced my fingers with his.

He groaned again, turning his head to the side before I saw his eyes open. I smiled down at him, excitement bubbling up in me because I finally had him back.

"Hey, welcome back to the land of the...well, dead..." I said.

He looked up at me and his eyes went wide with hope and wonder.

"Kellin?" He asked like he didn't believe it.

I smiled and nodded. He sat up and in a second had me in a tight embrace. I sighed deeply and hugged him back. After everything, I needed this. I needed the comfort and just to be with him again. It was perfect. I could feel Vic's body shaking though and was surprised to find he was actually crying. This was a very rare occasion.

"I think your humanity is getting to you, huh?" I asked.

"Shut the fuck up. I thought you were gone for good." He said.

"Well I'm not. I'm here." I said.

He pulled back only to press his lips against mine in an intense kiss. I kissed him back, wrapping my arms behind his neck. Human kisses didn't feel like this. There was no way it could match the fire between us.

"We're back." Vic whispered as he pulled away, but still stayed so close.

"Yeah, it's over." I told him.

"Wait, Lucifer-," He started in a panic.

"Is gone. He's gone." I said quickly.

"How?" He asked.

"Well...I kind of went to heaven." I said, still not really believing that I had been there, and spoken to God, and became an angel. It was too surreal.

"I figured." He muttered.

"And God was there," I continued, "And she got me to teleport back here, grab Lucifer and I took him back to heaven when he died on the spot."

"So it's really over?" He asked.

"It's over." I confirmed.

He smiled before kissing me again. I went to kiss back when another thought flashed through my mind.

"Wait, what about Mike?" I asked.

As Vic pulled back I saw a flash of sadness and perhaps even regret in his eyes.

"I killed him." He said, and the way he spoke let me know he didn't want to discuss it any further, so I didn't.

"I'm just so happy to be us again." I said.

"I know, me too." He said.

Once again he kissed me and I kissed him back. The taste of his lips, his demon lips, was something I missed. I didn't realize just how much my senses were heightened as a demon. I was back to being a demon of lust, but I wasn't feeling my usual urges. There was just too much going on right now to even think about that.

I pulled out of the kiss and smiled at Vic.

"Hell can go back to normal now, right?" I asked.

"Yeah. We should get the others back now." He said.

I nodded in agreement.

"But first..." He paused and looked down at himself.
