"Mean comments"

Sooo I have four works published. Each spanning about two thousand to three thousand comments

When there's that many people saying stuff, there's bound to be some not nice things said.

To me a mean comment is someone coming for me or the way I write in a malicious way

a mean comment is NOT people cussing out my characters or calling THEM dumbasses. they usually are.

1. Sex

I think this is the main thing people care about MOST. When I wrote handyman 2016-2017 I absolutely hated writing sex (still don't like it much).

So, there was a lack of sex scenes. When my characters did have sex, it was implied rather than described.

This girl came in the comments and DRAGGED me okay. She was like "how are you grown and can't write about sex?? these sex scenes ARE WACK!!!"

I kind of felt bad but fuck it.

2. Realism

I've only had but so many experiences. So sometimes I write about things I haven't specifically been through myself. Problem is, there are people out there who have lol.

So I get comments like "OMG _____ WOULDNT SAY THAT IN REAL LIFE!"

Or "______ don't do that in REAL LIFE"

like girl. This ain't real life. relax.

3. Update

Nothing wrong with commenting "update!"

but sometimes I get messages or comments like "finish writing Difference." like sis we only 30 chapters deep. I'm trying my best!

I have no problem with you hitting me like "hey, when are you updating?"

I don't particularly like "why haven't you updated?"

Usually it's in a joking way, which is cool. But people who come at me hard for not updating...yeah I don't like that.

If a comment really hurts me, I might delete it. Yeah that's kind of childish but if I don't delete it I'll keep thinking about it and I don't feel like worrying over something that's not so serious.

Other times, I'll respond politely.

Most of the time, someone else will drag them. Usually

I love almost all of the comments on my books, y'all be funny as fuck lmaooo. Some of y'all some big ole freaks 😭
