Chp 4. Accidently meeting Void

(Sabre's POV)

The movie was about to end. We laughed so hard! Soda came out of my mouth and nose, and it did hurt a little afterwards. The movie then ended.

Ryan: Ok, that was the funniest movie ever!
Tina: I know, right?
Me: Well, I should get going.
Cookie: Me too.
Unicorn: Where're you guys going?
Me: My place.
Cookie: I'm going with Sabre.
Goldy: Do I smell romance?
Me: That May be the popcorn, which is in your hair.
Goldy: Opps.

We then walked out and to my place.

Cookie: So what're your parents like?
Me: My mom died before I could remember. Dad always said that she was adventurous, yet cautious. He said I kind of remind him of her.
Cookie: I'm sorry.
Me: Don't be. My dad is, uhhhhh, he can be a bit overprotective. He also has some unusual punishments. I usually don't get them though. He tries his best to be a single dad while taking care of me.
Cookie: He seems like a nice man.
Me: Yeah, *mumbles* if only other people saw that side of him.
Cookie: What was that?
Me: NOTHING!

We then walked in. I saw a note on the table.

Sabre,
Going to do some late paperwork. Don't have to much soda. Try not to break anything. Love ya! -Dad

Me: My dad has some late work he has to do.
Cookie: Aww man! I was hoping to meet him!
Me: I-It's ok. We can play video games.
Cookie: That sounds nice.

*time skip*

We played video games for like 2 hours! Cookie fell asleep on my bed. I got to the kitchen to grab a snack. Just then my dad walked in.

Me: Dad! Cookie's still here!
Void: Oh, my bad, I'll just-
Cookie: Sabre?

She was staring at me with hurt eyes. I didn't like to see her hurt.

Me: I-I can explain!
Cookie: Your dad's Void Steve?! How could you not tell us!? Tell me?
Me: Just listen, please.
Cookie: I don't think I want to hear it.

She then walks out. I had tears in my eyes.

Void: I'm so sorry.

I just gave him a hug.

Me: I-I just *sob* don't understand. Why *sob* does everyone hate you?
Void: I've done some things I wish I hadn't in my past. I know you liked her, but I'm sure things will clear up.
Me: Thanks dad. You're the best.
Void: Why not watch some movies?
Me: I'm actually feeling tired.
Void: Ok. I'll try not to wake you.
Me: Good night.
Void: Night.

I then walked to my room. I got into bed and tried to forget what happened earlier today.

So Sabre's dad is non other than Void Steve. Well, now all I have to do is use that information to my own good.
