I open it slowly and peep around the corner of the door.
It was Hayes.
"Oh hey" I smile and open it wider.
"Hi, mind if I come in?" He asks.
"Of course" I say and walk back in and shut my book.
"What ya been writing?" He asks.
"Oh you heard?" I blush
"Yeah" He smiles.
"Just a song about myself" I half smile and look away.
It was so awkward. This is the first conversation we've had and not been rude to each other since we were together!
"I bet it will be amazing" he smiles.
"So umm, you didn't go out with the boys?" I ask.
"Well I'm sat with you aren't I" He jokes and I shake my head.
"Look, I'm so sorry about what happened. I didn't expect you to help me at all and I'm so sorry that it broke you and Maggie up. If I can help -"
"It's fine Ariana, it gave me the perfect opportunity to break up with her and made me realise some stuff" he says.
"What has it made you realise?" I ask.
"I'm still thinking about it all but when my mind has made up you'll be the first person to know" he smiles.
"Well I was gonna thank you this morning for saving me last night to but you shut me down" I say
"I know and I'm so sorry, I was so angry, I did love Maggie as we've had a big past together but it seems like that chapter is officially over in my life now" Hayes smiles.
"Well as long as you're happier" I smile
"Can I have a hug?" Hayes asks.
I nod my head and he pulls me close to his chest and I hug him tightly. I wanted to kiss him but it was too soon. We were only friends and after how he cheated on me I would have to trust him all over again.
"Anyway, that's pretty much what I came in to say, I just don't want any bad terms" he says.
"I agree. I'm done with drama" I smile.

*a few hours later*
It was later that evening, I hadn't told anyone that me and Hayes spoke that evening.
Bart had called me in for a meeting which I was super nervous about.
I was making my way there and Shawn was just coming out of the meeting room as I got to it.
"Hey! You alright?" He asks.
"Yep! Just nervous!" I giggle.
"You'll be fine" He smiles and hugs me and I walk in.
"Hey Ariana" Bart smiles.
"Hiiiiii" I say and sit down opposite him.
"What's up?" I ask smiling.
"So, we have some exciting news" Bart smiles.
"Yes?" I as biting my lip.
"How would you feel about performing 'Breathin' on live television?" Bart smiles.
"No way!! That's awesome!!" I smile.
"Not only on live television, on Ellen!!" Bart adds.
I widen my eyes and my mouth drops.
"Fuck off!! Yes that's amazing!!!" I squeal excitedly.
"She will do a small interview with you first and then you'll be singing" he smiles.
"Omg this is amazing! I'm so excited!" I say.
"It will happen on our next tour break" he smiles.
"Omg I can't wait to tell everyone!" I say
"Go tell them!" He laughs.
I smile and run out of the room and run straight up to Cameron's room as I knew everyone was filming a video for 'hows tour going'.
I could hear them all in there and I barge in and shout "I'm gonna be on Ellen!!!" And start jumping on the bed.
Shawn turns to me with a huge smile
"No way!!" He says .
"Yes!!" I smile and jump off the bed and he hugs me.
Everyone says congrats and mahogany starts screaming with me.
Hayes gets up and also gives me a hug and I hug him back.
Everyone looks at us weirdly and then I say "me and Hayes cleated the air earlier. "
Everyone smiles and we all have a group hug. Seems like things were back on track!
"I can't wait for tour tomorrow!" Cameron smiles.
"Me too! It's such a better atmosphere when everyone is getting along" Matt smiles.
