At the desert, the soldier was still talking to the other three while Foxtrot was still shut off
Soldier: ok, now I'm sure you're aware of the treaties between humans and aliens, we were sent here to discover any energy readings. Every soldier must be paired with one alien
Sarge: what kind of energy readings?
Soldier: I can't tell you, you guys need to leave, if the other aliens find out that they see another squad coming, you could cause an intergalactic incident
Caboose: oh we're used to doing that
Sarge: *cough cough* what my friend here means is that we're used to following protocol!
Soldier: good, then you guys just head on your way, and we won't have to file an incident report
Grif: dude, we're not going anywhere! Our Jeep is totaled!
Then on cue, the Jeep just straight up blows into pieces
Soldier: dammit! Ok, we'll help you repair your Jeep, after that you're gone! Let me settle some rules first...this is a restricted digsite, everything here is owned by the military. Don't go looking for any artifacts, and don't touch anything! Got it?
Grif: yes mom...
Soldier: ok quick quiz then, what are you gonna do when you find an ancient artifact?
Caboose: don't touch it
Soldier: wrong! That was a trick question, you're not going to find an ancient artifact because you're not going to be looking for an ancient artifact
Caboose: what if I knew it was a trick question...and I gave you a trick ANSWER!
Soldier: there are no trick answers there are only wrong answers. Are we clear?
Grif: yes...
Soldier: ARE WE CLEAR?
Sarge/Caboose/Grif: YES!!!
Soldier: good! Down there are some wrecked parts you can salvage for your Jeep, there's also some water on the left, keep yourselves hydrated. Ya want some chow? It's next to the water
Sarge: thanks, and we'll be leaving soon after our Jeep's fixed
Soldier: yes, you will
The three of them then start walking down to the wrecked parts
Grif: Sarge are you thinking what I'm thinking?
Sarge: yeah....something doesn't seem right
Caboose: I know...it's usually on the left
Sarge/Grif: shut up!
They then stop as they look at the parts
Sarge: Grif, you can turn Foxtrot back on
Grif then switches his helmet back on as Foxtrot just zapped Grif's suit
Grif: OW!!! What the hell was that for?!!
Foxtrot: never...shut me off...again...now where were we?
Sarge: we were just getting to fixing up our Jeep! Grif, I want you and Foxtrot to try and contact Simmons! There's a radio over there
Sarge then points to a radio behind Grif that was on top of a couple barrels
Grif: we'll get on it
Sarge: Caboose! I want you to help me repair the Jeep!
Grif then walks towards the radio as he looks at Foxtrot
Grif: could you try patching it through to Simmons while I tune the right frequency?
