Chapter 10

*two weeks later*

"T-the co-cow jumped ov-er the moon," Subject four read out loud in her room. Ella smiled listening from the other side of the wall.

"Lunch is ready sweetie," Ella said and Subject four put her book down and went to the kitchen where Marius was at the stove. Ella hugged Marius from behind and heard him chuckled. Subject stared up smiling and instantly she frowned. How much she missed David.

"Subject four-

"It's Melody. Subject four is in the past," Melody said

"I think that's a beautiful name," Marius said hugging her and sat down.

"When can I see David?" Melody asked

"Why?" Marius asked a bit defensively

"I miss him," Melody said and Marius frowned a bit

"A boyfriend?" Ella teases wiggling her eyebrows causing her to blush.

"He loves me a lot too," Melody gushed

"You aren't seeing him," Marius said causing Ella to turn herself towards him.

"If I meet him then  I can make my own judgment," Ella said

"I'll ask him if he wants to set a date to meet," Melody said and suddenly she disappeared.

Melody pov

I appeared in the coven again and noticed big changes and suddenly I heard a voice. I noticed it belongs to Eve. I saw her walking and turned her head. Her eye widen and ran to me hugging.

"I missed you so much," She said softly in her British accent

"Subject four?" Selene questioned with raised brows and walked with Michael and Thomas.

"My name is Melody now. Oh and I found my mom. She's really nice too and she gives me lots of hugs too," I said smiling

"And your father?" Michael asked

"He's actually kind and caring. My mom says we're both are similar," I said and suddenly my thigh vibrates and I fished out my phone. Yes, I'm still getting use to using one. I picked up seeing my mom caller Id.

"Hello," I spoke

Where did you go?! We're worried

"You said you wanted to meet him so I thought why not come and tell him myself. And I bumped into Eve and her mom," I said

Ohhh let me speak to Selene

"My mom wants to speak to you," I said giving Selene my phone and she walked away talking along with Michael.

"I'll go look for David," I said dashing off searching. Then I heard his voice from behind a door. I slowly opens it and stepped inside grinning and slowly it faded.

There he stood and kissing another chick. He pulled apart and stared at me.

" If you didn't want me that all you had to say," I said choking up a bit

"Subject four I- " David said but I cut him off

"I'm not Subject four. I am Melody!" I shouted and left slamming the door.

I went downstairs with a calm face. Selene seems like she was waiting and she gave a small smile.

"We are coming in two days. Your mum said something about it being a day for us to better know each other," Selene giving me my phone

"I put our numbers in your phone," Eve said

"Is everything alright?" Thomas asked

"Ask your son and the chick," I said feeling bitter
