Chapter 18

Eve pov

I kept pacing back and forth worried for my mum. I kept hearing her scream in pain and cry. Suddenly I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked at my best friend.

She's going to be ok. This happens when we come out to the new world

I'm just scared for my mum

Every right to you. She'll be fine

I heard her give one last yell and soon a baby cry after. I knocked on the door and the door swung open. Everything seemed cleaned up and the blue blanket in my mum's arm. She looked up at me with a warm smile but her face tired.

"Are you okay?" I asked

"Of course. Come closer so you can hold your brother," Mum said

I sat next to her and he was a perfect reflection of father. Carefully she placed him in my arms. He's so small and cute but he definitely has mums nose.  Right then I knew it protecting him with my life. My mum and father.

"They both need rest," Michael said grabbing  my brother from my arms causing a little whine from me making him laugh a bit.

"Cmon Eve," Lucian said walking me out.

"Soooo," Melody said

"He so cute it hurts," I said

"Aw," Melody said

Melody walked away smiling happily.

No ones pov

Melody walked down the hallway and then she was pulled into David's room. He was grinning and sat her down. He noticed her blush and kissed her.

"Ok now to help me pick out what to wear," David said

"Ohhh, are we going to match at the concert?" Melody asked her eyes sparkling

"Yes, you think it's clichè?" David asked

"No way. Let's see what you got," Melody said

David opened his closet and there was a bunch of clothes. Melody eyes widen and she got up and dragged him to the bed to sit down but accidentally tipped over on top of him. Her hair in her face. He moved her hair out the way and kissed her holding her in place. Getting caught up he got up and looked at her with love.
She got off and went back to the closet and started taking pants and stepping back to look at David.

She eyes lit up and quickly went back taking out ripped jeans and a Guns N' Roses shirt she saw. She threw them at him and went to look for combat boots while he was getting a good view. She turned around with a smile and gave it to him.

"There, now I'm going to get myself ready," Melody opening the door when David pulled her into another longing kiss and pulled apart. He had a goofy grin.

"Cmon David I need to go change and so do you," Melody said and walked away and bumped into Kraven.

"Hey I heard about what happen. Are you okay?" Kraven asked

"Oh, yeah I'm fine that's for asking. Not many asked me but thanks for caring Krav," Melody said making him smile from hearing the nickname she gave him. But he stopped when he noticed her lips a bit swollen. Had she? He tried to get the thought out his mind. Perhaps she was David? He couldn't show his jealousy.

"Where are you off to?" Kraven asked

"Gonna go to a concert and I have to go change," Melody said in a rush

"Oh ok," Kraven said

"See you when I get back. I'm curious about your person," Melody said before disappearing.

"So you saw her," Marius said

"Yeah. I don't see why you treat her like that, you almost had the plan set up properly if you didn't cause a scene. How do you expect us to gain power if we don't have her blood?" Kraven asked

"You suddenly took a liking in my daughter," Marius pointed out

"I want your daughter and I'll give you more supplies," Kraven said

For a moment Marius thought about it. If Kraven has his daughter what he would do if something happen to his supply. And perhaps a strong offspring would do them some good and build a bridge between them both. But he'll need her blood so how would this work out? A part of him was arguing saying no while the other saying yes.

"Deal," Marius said causing Kraven to smile.

Meanwhile, David got ready me looked in the mirror and smiled. Definitely style. He waited in the front and suddenly the door slammed and down came Melody. He looked at up and down. Wide hips he noticed very well. He wore black ripped jeans and she wore black high waisted shorts that really fit her shape.

"How do I look?" Melody asked posing goofy

"Pretty. Now we must go before the line gets long," David said opening the door for her and he looked back noticing Kraven and Marius staring.

David's pov

We got there and the line and lucky we were waiting towards the front. Melody waited next to me anxiously.

"This is my first concert Dav. Is it big inside too?What about the stage?" Melody asked

"Yes it is," I said as she held onto my arm as I gave the security our tickets.

"oh my god!" Melody exclaimed as her voice echoed.

Her eyes went wide the closer we go to the stage. With the amount of luck this day, its going fine and we had the very front row touching the stage.

"I'm nervous for some reason," Melody said

"It's ok. Some girls are too, some of them just scream to let it out," I said

"Ok," Melody said and suddenly the stage lights turned on and the room darkened.

The lights on stage brighten there they stood. Melody stood in shock like she seen god in the flesh standing there. Slash stood there doing his guitar solo. And the beat continues until Axl came up to his mic.

I thought of Melody's smile. I turned to her and her smile was shining. She was singing along and somehow the girl next to her were singing. Their arms on their shoulder. Melody is the anti social type but I know how to get her out and once she's comfortable she'll have anyone hooked. That's what I noticed about her.

She stared at me and stared at the stage. She held onto my arm. And took out her phone and starting recording. Axl leaned down smiling at the camera.

"Holy shit!" Melody shouted causing him to smirk trying not to laugh while singing.

"Did you see that?! You had to!" Melody shouted fan girling

Seeing her this happy and carefree was what I loved to see. She's worth living for. Melody, my Melody. A girl with secrets and I want to know them. She's a mystery believe it or not. She put her phone away. Instead she started singing along screaming with the girl next to her so why not sing too.

"ILOVEYOUSLASH!" Melody screamed on top of her lungs and converted her face while he laughed.

"Very cute love," I said loudly and held her in front of me.

"Alright everyone, our next song required someone to take Slash's place. Who wants to go for it?!" Axl shouted into the mic some people in the crowd were shouting. I however felt a pull towards Melody. I stared at Axl and I pointed at Melody. He thankfully saw me and smirked.

Melody was pressed up against me and I kinda froze. I knew for a fact she was smirking. I relax my breathing and calmed.

"Ladies and gentleman we have us a guitarist!" Axl announced
