The night was silent and neither father and daughter spoke to each other. Ella came up with a plan and decided to bring up old memories. Maybe it can help lessen the tension.

"Darling remember how we met?" Ella questioned with a smile and she noticed the corner of his lips curl up.

"It was a full moon if I remember correctly. You almost killed me too. But then I felt a heavy chest feeling on my heart and I knew I had to keep seeing you. Like I couldn't function if you aren't there," Marius said causing her to blush madly causing Melody to glare up a few times listening no doubt.

"Then our wedding. Underneath the moonlight and white Lily's on the chairs. The smell of lavender in the air and the calmness. Very peaceful my love," Ella said gushing

"Peaceful time is like back. Luckily we got away with it too," Marius said and suddenly Melody peeked up staring.

"Got away with marrying each other? But there shouldn't be a reason to get in trouble for marrying someone you love," Melody exclaimed

"There are still laws. Viktor actually once killed his daughter Sonja for loving a lycan and carried his child. Lucian, my brother was killed a few years ago. And Sonja was sentenced to death. Times has changed and I'm grateful we were able to be happy in this moment. I got to have a family of my own," Marius said with a warm smile and both were smiling at each other.

After dinner everyone went off to bed. It was silent until Melody felt a heavy feeling on her chest and her mind went everywhere.

From the other room both parents woke up with a start. Quickly they ran to Melody's room and she was on the ledge of the window. And the wind began to pick up.

"Melody get down from there!" Ella shouted getting closer.

Marius notice her eyes glowing neon and stepped closer. Noticing her lips moving but he couldn't quiet grasp it but it not in English.

"How does she know Romanian?" Marius asked

"I don't know. What is she staring at?" Ela questioned stepping closer to her daughter. It seemed as if she was having a conversation with herself. Ella began to worry and tried to see what her daughter saw and it wasn't working. Marius grabbed Melody and tucked her in bed. Suddenly, her eyes closed.

"Maybe we should stay in here for a bit," Ella suggested and Marius nodded.

The next morning

"Melody wake up darling!" Ella shouted

"I'm up mom!" Melody shouted back and opened the door walking downstairs.

"Get ready, they'll be here any minute," Marius said walking out the door with a cooler. Quickly Melody grabbed her phone and helped load the last things into the truck big enough for ten. Since he is the one that built it himself.

"Melody!" Eve shouted

Melody turned around and smiled and hugged Eve tightly then hugged Selene and Michael.

"You can put your things in the back. It'll fit for sure," Marius said and went inside to get Ella.

Selene looked at him suspiciously. Melody reassures Selene. The two teens were already in the truck car. Ella smiles as she introduced herself. Then it was time to go. Michale decided to sit next to Marius. It was an uncomfortable vibe between the two men however Marius decided to put in the first start the conversation .

"I built this car myself," Marius said

"Really? How long did that take?" Michael asked shocked

"Two years at most. I was working on it after the honeymoon with Ella. I figured I'd we start a family and travel I'd like to pack a few things and have room to rest," Marius said Thoughtfully

"Wow. Then you just started killing huh?" Michael questioned

"And I changed to a better man. I got Melody to thank for that," Marius said

"What did I do this time?" Melody asked from the back

"Nothing darling," Marius said with a laugh

Scene change to the back of the

"So when you were pregnant. How did you know?" Selene asked

"Well, one thing for sure is drinking more than I would have. I was vomiting though it was odd. But then I got scared and broke down crying. Like I don't know but I felt her, she was scared that I was hurt," Ella said

"What about labor?" Selene asked

"Well, since she is a hybrid and mixed with more than two. I'd say painful. I required more blood than ever. But those days was difficult indeed," Ella said with a sigh

"What happen?" Selene asked

"Vicktor. It was scary to even harder to hide our relationship. Before Sonja, Lucian tried to explain to Marius that we can love on another. And then he met me. Lucian was always supportive of us. But then Vicktor found out about them and killed her. We fled right after, but vicktor found out about me and Marius," Ella choked up a bit and Selene held her hand in comfort

"It's okay, I killed him when I was protecting Michael. Please continue," Selene said with her smile

"He found out about me being one last descendant of Dracula and his wife Paula. Thought I could be useful and breed children to add to his army. I never felt so trapped and Marius came and we left. And the whole time my love for Marius kept me sane," Ella said

"What happen Lucian?" Melody asked

"Your uncle, he passed away years ago. You both would've got along swell," Ella said

"Paula, of Liverpool. The witch that created the plague? Chaos?" Selene questioned interested

"Yup. My momma. Not everything was passed on to me but Melody posses from both sides strongly," Ella said

The car stopped and they stepped out and the sun was shinning and it was hot. Most of the items were set in the sand and Melody and Eve stared out.

"This is a beach?" Eve asked

"Yes. And that's sand and water," Selene said placing a large blanket next to the one Ella place down.

Selene pov

"Mel spit that out darling. You don't eat that!" Marius shouted worried

"Bleh, thanks for the heads up dad," Melody said sarcastically

We all sat down as my Michael and Marius spoke and cooked at the grill. For a moment I take in the scene and I think this is normal. I like this. Husband, daughter who has a friend and parents hangings put together. I'm still suspicious of Marius. Ella was laughing next to Eve.

"Selene come on," Michale said and I got up shyly and got in the water. We got further in the water and it was by my belly button.

"Ready?" Michael questioned with a smirk

"Michael I don't like-" before I can finish he grabbed me by the waist and threw me.

I resurfaced and heard his laughter. I wanted to mad but I couldn't and I laughed with him with a playful push.

"Eve Cmon!" Michael shouted

She stood by the mud and looked scared. Michael noticed and held her hand.

"Look darling I'm fine see," I said waving my hands causing her smile a bit.

"Are you gonna throw me too?" Eve asked a bit scared

"Only if you want me too," Michael said and slowly she walked closer and stood by me.

"I'm a lucky man," Michael said and we loved every moment of the peace.
