2 weeks later

"Charisma, are you sure you okay?" Kai asked as I froze.

"Yes, it's the braxton hicks" I sighed as I took a breath.

"Whew, thank God I didn't have those. You need some water?" Kai said.

"I'm fine, I'm use to them now" I rubbed my belly.

"Girl you finna pop" She said.

"Yeah I know" I said, as we continued walking the strip.

"You wanna go get some pizza?" Kai asked pointing towards the parlor.

"Actually yes" I smiled.

I went and held the door so she could push her stroller into the parlor. I walked in and the smell of dough filled my nose.

"What kind of pizza do you want" Kai asked.

Something you probably wouldn't eat.

"Um the 3 meat one is fine" I said, taking out my wallet.

"Girl I'm paying" Kai said holding her card.

"Actually I am, Go take a seat, you have Kairo" I smirked as I moved in front of her and placed the order.

"Ouuu" She squinted. I winked and handed the man my card.

"Next time I'm paying" Kai turned her nose up

"Next time I'm paying" I mocked, and sat down at our table.

"Anyways, you coming to Amora's birthday this weekend?"

(A/N: Amora is Tiana's daughter. She's 2 going on 3)

"Of course I'm coming to my baby's party" I smiled.

"The theme is Minnie Mouse" Kai said.

"That's cute" I said.

"Girl I'll be right back, I'm finna go change Kairo" Kai said, picking him up.

"Alrighty" I nodded as she walked to the bathroom.

My phone dinged, and I glanced at it, biting my lip.

| Hey! And thanks, have a good day as well -2:35 p.m|

I smiled at the sweet message. He's been doing that everyday.

"Girl who got you smiling at yo phone like that?" Kai came back smirking at me.

"Kameron, he just told me he hoped I was having a nice day."

"Awww" Kai cooed, positioning Kairo on her lap. He just looked at his mother like she had 3 heads.

"I know right, Kairo" I tickled his tummy, causing him to giggle.

"Girl what? That's really cute. Y'all ever hung out?" She wiggled her eyebrows.

"No hun. I've been busy working and trying to get ready for my babies to come" I waved her off.

"Well maybe you should get out and live a little. August would want you to"

I just looked at her.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to get you upset or anything" Kai said, when she noticed my eyes gloss over

"No it's fine" I smiled, wiping my eyes. "You're right, he would"

"Medium 3 meat pizza?" The waiter came over.

"Yes, thank you" Kai said.

We talked and ate, before heading a few more places. Kairo started getting fussy, so we decided to just go back to her place and chill.

Life has really been chill so far, and for that I'm grateful.
