Tiana's POV

"You ready?" I asked nervously. Today was the day that Kendrick and I were going to tell everyone we were together.

"Yeah, It's just I haven't seen everyone in a long ass time. I can't believe Charisma and Kai had kids" He said.

"Yeah" I said "I know for a fact they'll be surprised I said. 

"Mommy keep it down. I'm trying to watch Dora" Amora whined.

"Little girl" I said, and she giggled.

I chuckled and turned back around. I really hope they weren't mad at Kendrick, even though they had no reason to be.

Kendrick touched my thigh, and I smiled at him.

We drove in silence, well not complete silence because Amora would talk to her tablet.

We pulled into Charisma's driveway, and Kendrick killed the engine.

"Auntie Risma's house!" Amora squealed as she unbuckled her car seat.

Me and Kendrick got out, and I got Amora out. She ran up to the door, before knocking.

Kendrick grabbed my hand as we waited for them to open the door.

"Is that Tete baby?" Charisma smiled as Amora jumped into her arms.

"Hey- Oh" Charisma's eyes widened.

"Hey" Kendrick spoke.

"So Kendrick is the man you've been talking about" She smirked.

"Yeah" I mumbled.

"Well, long time no see" She looked at him.

"Auntie can I go see my cousins?" Amora said.

"Yeah baby" She set her down.

"Come on in, don't act like strangers." She said.

We walked in, and she led us to where everyone was.

"Kai shut yo pale as up. Looking like a oversized ass glow worm" August said

"August you can really get-" Kai looked at us.

Everybody else turned and looked at us as well.

"Look what we have here" Chris said.

"This nigga disappeared off the face of the earth" August said.

"His chocolate ass is backk" Eli mumbled.

"Hey y'all" Kendrick spoke.

"Hey y'all" Chris mocked. "Nigga was gone for like a year and all we get is a hey"

"Where yo black ass been?" August said.

"I was back in Atlanta, but then I came back here because I got offered a job" He said.
