The ever so sweet sound of music filled the small valley, just between the crystal clear lake and the wooded forest. Light voices harmonized together in the beautiful land and the small animals of the forest came to listen.

The group of Light Elves sat by the water, their small feet just dipped right in. The water ripples around their toes as they moved while they sang.

Only the Princess was in the water, the clear water up to her knees, soaking the white cloths that covered her body. She danced as her friends sang, a sweet smile on her face.

As the song came to an end, Dahlia's eyes opened and she looked at the elves around her. "Oh, please, won't you sing again?" She practically begged.

Dahlia loved music; as all Light Elves did. And while Dahlia had the most lovely voice, she simply loved to dance to music.

"Princess," One of the Elves laughed sweetly. "Perhaps you shall enchant us with a tune."

Dahlia smiled and walked through the water towards her friends. "Oh, but you are all so lovely. I know! Why don't we go for a swim? The water is so lovely today." Dahlia splashed around playfully.

"The water is lovey every day." Aalihya ran her fingers through the water.

Dahlia knew that the answer was a no; of course it was. Though she kept a beautiful smile on her face and sat down on the sandy grass. She was quite bored; the days blended together ever so often.

The Princess rose to her feet suddenly. "I shall be back."

"Princess Dahlia, remember, you must be with the Queen before the sun sets and the first star awakens."

Dahlia nodded. "Yes, thank you."

And then the young Princess was off. Her bare feet freely running through the soft grass and her damped dress falling behind. The soft breeze smelt of honey suckle and wildflowers; it was beautiful on Alfheim.

The woods were bright with light, the sun illuminating the woods. With each step the Princess took, animals followed her everywhere. The Light Elves had powers of Nature and Fertility, though the Princess had them in nature.

While she couldn't talk, she could understand animals of all kinds. She could understand their pain if that was want was felt, or happiness, or anything. And Dahlia loved it. She loved animals and she loved to understand them.

There was a lot the young Princess didn't understand. That was why she loved animals.

Dahlia hummed every so sweetly as she approached the heavier wooded area. The forest grew only slightly darker, but a small light could be seen from inside it.

The smile on her face could have caused World Peace, or a War between two friends. The happiness in her heart was full as she walked towards the light.
