 jing yi woke up to find himself in the arms of feng leng, with their legs tangled together brushing each others' feet. his head on fengleng's arm and his arms wrapped around feng leng's torso. the gentle breaths brushed against his head. waking up and glancing at  feng leng was a routine now.

knowing he wouldnt be able to get out of feng leng's hold, jing yi rested his head in fengleng's chest and breathed in the scent.

they continued talking minor things , jing yi doing little to reply as the shame still didnt shook off completely and later washed themselves and got out not to dwindle in the bath for too long. 

they both got dressed , each helping the other. feng leng  left for the court after pulling jing yi close to him and taking a deep sniff and readying himself to be away. he closed his eyes and  pouted his lips toward jing yi , waiting for jingyi to start the kiss.

jing yi stared and felt himself turn still but soon tiptoed ,pulled fengleng gently by the neck and pecked the bigger man's pouting lips, feeling his cheeks become hot. 

though still feeling shy , jign yi smiled at fengleng.

fengleng was surprised that jign yi was actually able to initiate but was happier than surprised. pulling jing yi's face towards himself he delved into jing yi's lips and traced jing yi's mouth with his tongue finally letting go.

"be good and stay inside. i will be back as soon as possible. "

to that , jing yi nodded smiling still trying to get his breadth back.

after issuing the house arrest of the left minister, the investigations had went on for days, but still no evidence was found of left minister being involved in the treason. the investigations had went on to inspect every official in the imperial court. which then too led to nothing.

but the emperor wasnt depressed about it. he was sure that a culprit capable of deceiving the nation for so long wouldnt be caught so easily. the first attempt was now to prevent more war and end the conflict through diplomacy. but if things didnt end that way, the army was also to train more efficiently, preparing themselves for anything to come.

spies had been sent to the border to retain any information on the enemies but many spies sent were unsuccessful in finding anything. some that infiltrated the enemy nation's army also hadnt heard anything about the second prince's involvement.

the only proof of the involvement of the second prince was the final words of the spy. things  had gotten haywire.  

the northern borders had been silent for some time but soon the imperial secretary came forth and informed the emperor and the general feng leng about the interrogation going on with the left minister's left hand , official wang yi.

the imperial interrogation team had been assigned with official wang yi's case. after  three days of interrogation, it had been found that official wang gi was involved with the yu empire and had been committing treason, leaking valuable information to the enemy for wealth.

official wang gi's residence had been thoroughly checked and multiple documents had been found implying his connections with the yu empire. many other smaller officers' name from other provinces had also been found out. but what seemed odd the most was an accomplice of theirs who was only called as 'sparrow' and also referred  as a higher official , who was more involved than any in this treason. now the suspicions against left minister increased as the evidence pointed against him more and more.

the empire sinisterly smiled at how deep this treason had been rooted . 

"it seems the mice have been found out. now it is time to eradicate them."
