"dismissed." as soon as he uttered the word, he left the conference room, not minding the comments from the others asking why he was in a hurry.

he wasted no time waiting for the elevator to go down, opting to use the stairs instead. he shunned every employee who greeted him but tried his best not to look that rude.

yoongi slowed down when he reached the clinic, not wanting to break the calm atmosphere it has. he had expected jihyo to still be asleep, laying on one of the clinic beds.

he opened the door only to be met by laughs. yoongi furrowed his eyebrow as he entered the room. he went towards the source of the noise, and he had to admit, a piece of his heart got hurt at the sight. why? he himself does not know the reason.

jihyo was already awake, she's sat up on the bed, still on a laughing fit. beside her was that man from back then, jb was it? he did not know, and does not want to know. the two seemed to have talked for a while now, they seemed real comfortable to one another, and yoongi just stood there and watched the two interact.

he did not know how to describe what he's currently feeling. it's as if his insides are twisting, and there's this hollow feeling he cannot comprehend.

before it irritated him further, he loudly cleared his throat, gaining attention from the two infront of him. who distanced themselves a bit.

"u-uhm, you're here..." jihyo mumbled, staring at her hands that were playing with the bedsheets. she honestly has no idea why she's acting like this.

"yeah, hurried over to check on you.", yoongi replied, a tinge of disappointment in his voice. "i see that you're fine now, i'll take my le-" he was about to turn around, but was stopped by an arm on his shoulder.

"oh- sorry." jaebum released his grip immediately. "i feel like you want to talk to her. don't worry, i was about to go anyways." he continued, shooting a smile at jihyo one last time before exiting the room.

an awkward silence wrapped around the atmosphere, neither having the courage to speak up. yoongi just stood still, while jihyo still had her head down.

"h-hey, may i ask why you came here?" jihyo's eyes roamed around the room, but it failed to reach his own. "just wanted to ask, heh." jihyo giggled, trying her best to lighten the mood.

"like i said, i came here to check on you." he answered, walking straight to the chair jaebum has sat on earlier. "you had us really worried earlier." yoongi continued, feeling himself relax a little. "sorry for being a burden."  jihyo released a sigh, but was immediately contradicted by yoongi. "no, it isn't your fault. i'll take care of those who did this to you, for now... just rest up." she smiled and finally looked at him, thankful for everything.

"i should go now."  he stood up. "you should rest, sorry for disturbing." he added. yoongi had already turned back, but even before he could take a step, a pair of hands wrapped around his arm, preventing him from walking away.

yoongi turned to jihyo, raising an eyebrow as if he was asking for an answer. deep inside, he could feel his heart race by just a mere touch. "i-um, kind of enjoy your company." she admitted, biting her lip as she refused to look at him. he just stared at her, his path of sight tracing from her eyes to her lips. as tempting as it looks, he held himself back, it wasn't right for him to think of such things right now.

he cleared his throat, and garnering some confidence he said,  "okay then, i suppose i'll stay here."  yoongi sat back down, gaze still locked on jihyo. "thank you."  jihyo muttered, "for earlier." she continued, playing with her fingers. yoongi felt a smile creeping its way to his face, flattered with what she said just a few seconds ago. "it's nothing." he replied.

the room was surrounded by comfortable silence, the two of them already content by the presence of the other. jihyo felt at ease. they stayed like that for a while, before yoongi had to ask. "shouldn't you be sleeping?" jihyo turned to meet his gaze, "oh- i suppose? i couldn't really sleep earlier, so jb oppa came to keep me company." he shouldn't have said that. the uncomfortable feeling in his stomach immediately came back. "oh." he breathed out.

jihyo noticed the shift in his mood afterwards. should she have not said that? somehow, she felt guilty. why would she though? jihyo can't comprehend. she needs to get over him anyway. that's right, park jihyo needs to get over min yoongi right away.

all of a sudden, he let out a smile, and who was jihyo kidding, moving on is never easy. "sleep. i'll be right here." he said. jihyo felt butterflies in her stomach, her heart fluttered and blood was rushing to her cheeks, all because of one sentence. damn yoongi. i'm not yet over you.

"a-alright." jihyo finally felt fatigue enveloping her body, putting her to slumber not long after she closed her eyes. yoongi, as promised, stayed, enjoying the comfortable silence as he watched her sleep peacefully.

it makes him feel at ease just watching her sleep, it's weird, it feels like jihyo's put him under an enchantment. it draws him closer to her, arms crossed and placed on the bed, just a few inches away from her. he rested his head on his arms, admiring her closely. "god, you don't know how much you affect me." he whispered, staring at every features of her face."sleep tight." he muttered as he closed his eyes as well, both of them finding comfort and peace through the presence of the other.

"jihyo-yah!" sana, who was with momo and mina came to check on jihyo, only to be surprised at the sight in front of them. "oops! sorry." she whispered, looking at the two flustered persons behind her.

"they look so cute together!" momo squealed, just enough for the two to hear. mina just elbowed her, telling her to keep quiet. "it's best that we should leave. we'll come back once they're awake." mina said, before pulling her two friends away before they cause any trouble.
