NOTE: I ACCIDENTALLY UPLOADED CHAPTER NINETEEN, PRETEND YOU NEVER SAW THAT HUGE SPOILER!!!

three.

okay. park jihyo's totally weirded out now. for some reason, in every little thing she does, min yoongi would be right beside her.

it's normal, because she's his secretary so she'd see him more frequently than the others, but the fact that he's infront of her house right now, at this early hour of the day, carrying breakfast, jihyo is totally weirded out.

"uhhh..." jihyo squints at him, "i don't remember asking breakfast from you?" she asks her boss.

"well you're in luck today. so, coffee, tea, or me?" he smirks, raising his eyebrows playfully.

jihyo scoffs, "i'll take none, thank you." she proceeds in closing her door, but his foot prevented her from doing so.

"i'm your boss." he says. "and i seriously hate that you have all the power to use that 'boss' card on me." jihyo sighs in defeat, launching her hands in the air as a sign of surrendering.

yoongi shows a big smile, entering her place happily, going straight to her kitchen.

"after this, let's go watch a movie." he offers, setting the table up. "don't you have better things to do?" she follows him to the kitchen, helping him in placing the utensils.

"i don't. spending time with you is the best thing to do." he replies, before diving in the food.

wow. the nerve of this guy.

"who are you?" she cautiously asks. "pretty sure my boss isn't capable of saying stuff like that." jihyo continues with a surprised face.

"well, get used to it." was his only reply, before continuing in eating. jihyo sighs for the nth time today, before finally eating the food he had brought her.

"i wanna ask you something."

jihyo breaks the silence as they walked to a nearby park, yoongi reasoned that it was for 'exercise'.

"i'm gonna need you to be serious right now, are you always like this to everyone or is it just me?" jihyo turns around to face him.

"what do you mean?" he returns a question to her.

"you're being too nice. i wonder if you've always been nice to everyone. what are you doing?" she bows her head, fiddling with her fingers.

it's true. what he's currently doing confuses jihyo. at first she'll believe that he's done this to others before, but then they would tell jihyo that it was only her. it plays with her mind.

"you make me do these things." was his response.

this made jihyo look up. "huh?" she breathes out. her eyes searched for more answers, and he will give it to her.

"i only do these because of you... for you." he smiles, patting her head. jihyo felt blood rush to her cheeks, instantly reddening at physical contact and his words.

this felt all too familiar. the feeling she's sworn she'd forget and bury came back in an instant. she blames herself for being so weak at things like this.

"so let me continue doing these things for you, alright?" he winks at her, before he continued walking, leaving a stunned jihyo behind.

he exhales deeply, feeling light, as if he let go of a heavy weight that was formerly on his shoulders.

yoongi can't stop himself from smiling.

jihyo on the other hand was stuck in her place. "goddamn it park jihyo, he's your boss now." she curses herself. "now, if you don't want the same thing to happen to you again, do the right thing." jihyo reminds herself of the past.

but what if that right thing is to doing what her heart wants, knowing all too well that everything's going to be just like how it turned out in the past, no matter how jihyo suffered back then, she never regretted any of her actions.

a tear escaped from her eye.

"promise you'll never leave me alone?" jihyo mutters as she snuggles closer to him. "i promise." he strokes jihyo's hair.

"what would you do if i lost my memories?" she asks out of the blue, removing herself from his embrace to look into his eyes. "i can't imagine the pain i'll go through, but for you, i'll do my best to help you remember me." yoongi answers. "and what if i don't remember?" jihyo breathes out.

"well, true love has a habit of coming back. if my actions doesn't make you remember me, then i just hope it would be able to touch your heart again. after all, memories are just memories, they're all in the past. what matters most is the present that's right in front of you." he pours his heart out on this answer, gently cupping jihyo's cheek as he spoke.

"you really are a sweet talker." jihyo leans toward his touch, her giggle lightening the mood. "yeah, your mind may not remember, but your heart does." he continues, pulling her closer.

jihyo lets out a contented sigh, "i wonder what the future would bring us." she lays on his lap and stares at the ceiling. "actually, it doesn't matter, but i could only picture my future with you." she answers her own thought, looking straight at yoongi's eyes.

jihyo took a deep breath, wiping the tear before exhaling. "darn memories." she muttered before turning around and walking the opposite way. she needs to clear her mind that's swirling with thoughts alone, without him being a total distraction so jihyo wouldn't make a hasty choice.

yoongi looked back, only to find no jihyo behind him. his eyes searched if she's nearby, but he failed to track her. "did i scare her?" he asked himself, contemplating if he should go look for her, or let her be for now. the suddenness of the situation must have shocked her. "i should've considered her reaction." he hits his head, disappointed with himself.

he hurriedly went back to the direction of jihyo's home.

jihyo has been home for a good ten minutes, going straight after walking slowly, something she does to organize her thoughts and ease her mind. she opted for staying in and taking a warm bath, but a knock disturbs her from going to the bathroom.

with a groan, she lazily walked to her door, preparing herself for an earful from her boss who she just left without saying anything earlier.

she swung the door, fully expecting a human figure in front of her. but to her surprise, she was only met with a small box with a bouquet of flowers beside it. attached to the box is a small note, jihyo picked it up first, reading its content.

"hey, i'm sorry if my approach kind of overwhelmed you. i didn't mean to do that. i hope that won't make you uncomfortable :( -yoongi."

jihyo laughed at the use of the emoticon, it's something she wouldn't imagine that he would do. she took the box and opened it to reveal a small plushie, with its puppy eyes and its hands showing a note that says "i'm sorry."

she smiled at the present, before picking up the flowers and taking it inside her house.

a certain someone watched her from afar. as she walked inside, he can't help but also grin in delight, just like a lovestruck highschool student. he stayed for a couple of minutes, before starting his car and driving off.
